Okay, so I have two sort of unrelated questions, but I'm posting them both in one thread to avoid clutter.

First off, how do bosses work? I only recently gained T2 access, and have only ever run into one boss - Snarbolax, in Tier 1. Mainly, I want to know how to find them. I checked the wiki, but I didn't really find any useful information. The Firestorm Citadel seems to be at a fixed depth, but I wasn't able to find any of the other boss dungeons on the map I checked.

My other question is related to Equipment tier (for Lockdown). So I've worked out already that T1 = 0/1 star, T2 = 2/3 star, and T3 = 4/5 star equipment. Is your best equipment the one that determines your tier, or is there any sort of averaging? For example, if I'm wearing proto armor (0 stars) and wielding a Divine Avenger (5 stars), is my Tier still 3, because of the sword, or is it lower because of the proto armor?

There are 4 active gates in

There are 4 active gates in the Arcade at all times, right? One gate has snarby, another had JK, another has the RT, and the last has Vana.

You'd still be in T3. You can't be in T1 cause your DA would be extremely overpowered there, and the same for T2. Regardless our your equipment, the highes stared equiptment you are using at the moment will determine what LD Tier you're in.

Yay for uncluttering forum

Note that if you have made loadouts for easy changing between gates, unmark them by clicking on the crossed swords to make them blue and pointing up. The highest tier'd loadout you have will determine your lockdown tier.

Thanks

Okay, thanks for the answers. I really should have looked at more than one gate before asking... And too bad about the Lockdown stuff, an averaging system would allow for some interesting combinations.
