I would like to say that the previous few updates has been very interesting.

The update I would like to talk about would be the Dragon Wings update. http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/42036

Personally, I feel that this update really allows most of the F2P players to get a Wing accessory that was previously almost unobtainable due to the incredulously high prices. These Dragon Wings even come with a flapping animation, something that amazes me considering it is so much easier to obtain. Also, some colors like the Volcanic Dragon Wings look way more amazing than its counterpart, the Volcanic Wings. Now we know why the Volcanic Wings ain't Volcanic.

However, there are some people who have blasted OOO and said that this update wasn't a promotion for the P2P players. I beg to differ. Doing some math(comparing to the 20,000 CE package), with 100 bucks, this update gives you 35,000 CE and 10 Dragon Wings, compared to 40,000 CE(if two 20k CE packages were bought). If you have some luck, and you get say a Volcanic Dragon Wings out of the ten, you could easily sell it for 400,000 Crowns, which is about 6,500 CE using 100CE~6000Crowns conversion rate. By selling this pair of VDW you would already have 41,500 CE with 9 more wings left.

I would say such an update has benefited both the F2P and P2P players, as F2P players can get their wings for very reasonable prices, from 50,000 to 100,000 Crowns, while P2P players get more value for their money by buying these packages.
