I want my drops! :O
I've got plenty of those. Extremely upsetting at stratum 6 with all those large balls of heat floating beyond my reach.
Many times I had to "waste" my charged Blight Needle "shooting the wall" to avoid out-slaughtering a wolver that just go off board and is barking in the air. And then poke it softly with Prisma Driver and persuade to get back on earth.
At least wolvers are again somewhat challenging ;-)
haha. I've only done that once. Though I don't see wolvers warping outside the map that often.
I'm just waiting for someone to post a screenshot of a floating gear drop (darkfang?!), that would be terrible.
Gear does not drop from enemies, aside from the random Heart Pendant from a Love Puppy. So you won't find any floating gear drops.

@Warlordx. You could file an ingame support ticket and they'd fix it for you :)
On a more serious note. Crowns and hearts should gravitate toward you. I think it is strange (sucks) that u can run RIGHT NEXT to spikes or thorns and take damage. If you run RIGHT NEXT to a heart you don't get healed. The hitbox on hearts/coins should be at least as big as on hazards.
That being said, give us a link boomerang/grappling hook to grab those suckers!!! This would make the game better right?
Maybe the volcanic Pepperbox charge could be of some use in these situations?
