People should know what lockdown is meant for.

Many of the players I have had in my Team only try to kill players. I would found it fine if they succeed but they can't not only that they don't even know the main objective of Lock Down. CAPTURING AND DEFENDING.
Sadly that most players do this mistake. they don't know the basics of lockdown. Which causes always a lose.
And I am not the kind of a player that wants to waste his time and crowns of a 8 min or 5 min game.
I think that 3 rings should bring back the super brawl that was used in the beta server.
So players could kill each other there only and not ruine the fun of other players in lockdown.
but if the game turns into one of those matches where both teams go in flocks and just keep recapturing points without even running into each other, that's where I find it gets boring for me
That also is the point, where the guardian-bomber needs to change direction and slow down the opponent just long enough for his own team's "strike force" to bite them into their behinds :3
I love a good "strike force crash" even though usually I'm the (by then most likely dead) bomber... But it so rarely happens :(
I'd also love to see a reintroduction of super brawl, too. Maybe they could bring in lockdown shields as power-ups on some (NOT all) maps... wasn't there a somewhat elaborate suggestion about this somewhere? Can't find that good ol' thread any more :/

That line is invalid.
Because you need to defend bases, this will cause combat anyhow.
But you are right with bringing brawl back, but if it comes back then people will do only Guild lockdowns. so it won't die off
Bringing brawl make alot of these players happy..
lockdown has been a pain to me recently for various reasons, but i dont see any awesome sauce solution, that slaps every ld problem in the face

Today I went up against a T2 monster and no matter how much damage he did he lost because my team focused on capturing rather than fighting:

The enemies usually come to you if you're capturing or defending a point, there's really no use in fighting them when not not near a point since, if you're better than they are, you're being distracted from helping your team get points and, if you're worse than they are, you're going to die.
Oh, and killing for the sake of killing would actually get old pretty fast since people would just camp or hide/run.

Because we have no permanent ranking system on wins and losses there really is no incentive to do anything other than be a killbot. Even if you lose, you still get +70 or higher if you're decent.
While I agree, I also feel that killing is the most fun part of Lockdown (for me anyway). Which means that if I'm playing a few matches and only want to have some fun, I won't be too serious about winning and I'll do what I enjoy the most. Of course, winning is usually better than losing, but if the game turns into one of those matches where both teams go in flocks and just keep recapturing points without even running into each other, that's where I find it gets boring for me. And for 200 cr per match, I don't really have that much incentive to win.
And yes, bringing back the super brawl would probably be a good thing, but it would lack the classes of lockdown which makes the kills so much more satisfying. So I don't think it would fix the problem entirely.
