Yes, there's probably been a bumload of these threads, but this has been bothering me for a while now.

As it currently is, energy regenerates at a rate of 1 energy about every 15 minutes, which means that in 24 hours, you regenerate approximately 96 energy.
The problem here is that if you prefer playing around a set time every day, for example between 7 and 8 PM, you end up having less and less playtime every day and are pretty much forced to either stop playing for a day or buy energy.

Just part of the business model? Maybe, but it works incredibly discouraging for some new players.

Now if energy regenerated those 96 energy in about 23 hours, it would be a lot easier for those people to play daily without having to wait a bit longer every day, making the game a lot more enjoyable to them.

Your thoughts?

Your numbers are off.

It takes about 13.2 minutes for a point of mist energy to regenerate. It takes 22 hours for your entire mist energy to recover.

I heard and commented somewhere...

On a previous thread of similar nature, it was suggested that maybe the mist regen time could be increased while offline? Perhaps by 50%?

I don't know anyone who would be so obsessed as to going and waiting that extra few mins just to go back on to do something, then log off for the regen.

Thoughts?

Just buy some CE with crowns

Just buy some CE with crowns to fill the gap. Problem solved.

This is just a problem in the very very beginning, perhaps your first week of play. If you have a friend who is more advanced, borrow some CE to get started, and you'll be able to pay them back in time.

You just need a kick-start to get to stratas that give you enough crowns that you can afford your first lot of 100 CE. Once you have that, you can always use 10 - 20 of it to extend your trips in the clockworks to the last levels of the stratums and make more money.

Don't be afraid to use CE, as that is what I do all the time. I still accumulate more crowns and CE all the time. My first week was a bit slow, but not I could just adventure the whole day and still make profit all the time from the materials and crowns compared to my CE spent. My mist meter is completely irrelevant to what I do, except it encourages me to play a certain minimum each day to avoid wasting the mist (which is essentially a free gift of around 5000 crowns from the game each day).
