lol, asked for advice in a steam chat, and i pasted it in there, then clicked it, aaaand then it worked. thanks though.

Paste this link into your browser and you should be prompted to install the preview client through steam. Pretty much the only way.
Edit: doesnt work if you use google chrome apparently so try using internet explorer
