I really like the Driver series and I was thinking of getting another one. The ones I am considering are the Hail Driver, the Umbra Driver, and the Storm Driver. Which one is the best overall (including Lockdown, not including places where they suck)? By the way, please do not even mention the others as recommendations. I have them.

Storm for general useage. The
Storm for general useage. The drop in dps, should you care about it, isn't as large as magma to hail, or nova to hail. Umbra is a ld gun, or shadow, for pure gunslingers. Hail drivers usefulness is debate on in the hail driver observations and experience thread.
You could always buy the 2* of those weapons, costing you around 6k, and test it out yourself.

Umbra Driver to have shadow
Umbra Driver to have shadow damage type, considering you already have Nova and Magma. Hail and Storm would only bring a different status, which is not a lot compared to a different damage type.
But for Lockdown, you can also consider Storm Driver, because Shock is ultra annoying.

Storm
Storm has more desirable applications than Umbra in Clockworks (assuming you're primarily a swordsman).
Umbra usually deals slightly more damage in Lockdown, but Storm has shock status, which is usually deadly.
Hail is just bad.

If i were to get an Umbra Driver than it would be mainly for jellies and LD. i already have a Sentenza so i don't necessarily need it for gremlins. However i have no gun that is strong to jelly. But usually the status is important to me too, plus I usually just use the Gran Faust/Levi.
It's basically between the Umbra and Storm Driver. A bit equal between the two. I think the Storm Driver is cooler, but I also know that the Umbra Driver would be a good decision.

Both are supposedly equally good. Seeing as you already have shadow weapons for pve, get a storm. It performs well in pvp too. One can also argue that storm is better in pvp, with a nice status and a smaller bullet size on screen, making it hard to see and dodge.

Don't disregard the hail. I believ the hail has a different playstyle to it than regular alchemers.
Do you wear gunslinger armour/trink? Because if you do, uv's will most likely be ctr. And it doesn't have to be a vh ctr. A medium works well, along the innate level 10 ctr med.

Er, i don't know exactly about Hail Driver since i haven't used it in lockdown but i've shocked people wearing Divine/MercDemo plenty with Storm Driver so its only logical for Hail Driver to freeze skolver wearers.

You need more than 7 ranks of resistance to be immune to Alchemer status. No idea what the number is but most people aren't going to stack like 12the or more ranks, so it's effectively not resistible.
ASI is probably better than CTR for LD, especially if you don't have any gun ASI on your gear. Ctr is way better for Clockworks but charging in LD is pretty difficult.

Well, I do not have any armor or trinkets that would boost guns. After i get one of these Drivers then i would probably get Nameless/Justifier. However i might also use it accompanied by a sword, like in LD or FSC. When i play with a Magma Driver in LockDown, the charges mostly miss, and so do the normal shots most of the time because i just think they are too slow. I know that in PVE though the charge is super awesome.
To me, i think that ASI would be a bit better, but i also have to think about the fact that I might get gunslinger armor too.
Hail Driver would probably be the worst due to everyone running around in Skolver gear and thus being practically immune to freeze, as far as LD is concerned.
