Grinding for Mats is time consuming. Can you vend them?

Since we are not testing the ability to grind out clockworks, the requirements of getting mats (and minerals, but this is less crucial) is time consuming.

Can you vend tokens so we can trade in mats for Brinks? You can sell them from 1CE from the Supply Depot.

Thanks!

I agree, getting Mats is very Frustrating, but aren't we supposed to be finding Bugs/Glitches/Exploits, not trying to Level Up our Character? This seems to be almost everyone's Goal. Right Now, I'm Rockin' a Demo Set & Boosted Plated Shield with a Brandish, Blaster, & Blast Bomb, but I'm still looking.

You can always ask for mats.

You can always ask for mats. After just several missions I got tons of "red shards and brimstone" so i can just give them away to other players. There's no point in selling stuff in testing server.

No need for mats

There is no need for mats since most gear are available after doing missions and through supply depot. You get most 3-5 star gear now except for boss gears.

The only reason for getting mats is to complete prestige missions and upgrade a uv'd gear. Upgrading your character with high uv's is not the goal of this test server.

I agree but disagree

I understand that we are testing the game for glitches, bugs and what not, but to complete some missions it is helpful to have 5* azure guardian or 5* vog for testing as you are able to move more freely in a dungeon instead of worrying about dying every 12 seconds so you can focus on finding the problems. I agree that there should be a machine that gives mats of every type in the game or test server, but do understand the meaning of the server. This is just a suggestion but, can you make the supply packs actually mean something like, you open it and you get these mats or a recipe. Mostly cause they are pretty expensive and only used for prestiege.

Well...

We Start a 0*, because the Devs want us to Test the First Missions before any Newbies, so that we can find Bugs/Glitches/Exploits that might Interrupt their Gaming Experience. If we all get 5* Stuff, everyone will just be trying to get 3 Maximum! UVs on their Fake Gear.

WE NEED TO FIND BUGS.

Simple as that.

I understand that you hate Dieing every 12 Seconds, but if you want 5* Stuff, you gotta either get it yourself or have a Friend who's Busy Spamming UVs get them for you.

what i meant was

What i meant was that we should be able to get the 5* and 4* amour for mission at 5.1-7.1 because that is what is necessary. I am not talking about UV's at all, i am just talking about stock standard amour. I never said that we need it at the begging and you are making huge presumptions on what i am saying because i wasn't clear enough for you. I AM NOT SAYING WE SHOULD NOT BE FINDING BUGS AND WE ARE OBSESSED WITH GETTING HIGHER AMOUR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I DON'T THINK YOU WOULD GO WELL WHEN THE VANA MISSION IS RELEASED IN YOU DEMO SET. DO YOU??? I AM TALKING ABOUT WHAT IS NECESSARY TO PLAY THESE LVLS!!!!!!!!!!!

Again...

Armors, weapons, helmets, bombs, guns, from 1-5 stars are unlocked in the supply depot as you progress further in your missions. At rank 6 you get a variety of 3 star and a dragon scale armor. You get the necessary amount of star level depending on what Tier the missions are. Therefore there is no need to upgrade. With an unlimited supply of mist energy, dying is simply...meh.

but why

If that is the case then why does the game give you the complete cobalt set stuff hmm?

i agree

i love testing and have put in feedback but having some mats cheap would help so i can do higher rank missions and test for more glitches.

I don't think that just

I don't think that just giving people a mat vendor would be good.
If you want to make it so that users don't care about their stuff, you could give them unlimited crowns, access to all mats, and put a simple npc in that sells all the recipes.
in an hour, no one will care about their fake gear because it'll all be the best possible. but then they probably wouldnt bother with the missions, so you could make this all only accessible after the last mission is done... but then people might just rush through them and not pay attention to the text/typos at all. though to be fair at least they would catch anything game-breaking.

I should have been more

I should have been more clear. Yes, I am aware of goal which is to go through the missions and test out bugs.

1) By making mats irrelevant, you can pretty much skip killing monsters (since this will unlikely be a bug) when doing the missions and complete them quickly. This means more testing.

2) By nullifying the mats, this silly race to have the best gear becomes obsolete, allowing everyone to focus on bug testing. (This will lead to more testing.)

I agree that in the first few levels, the mats should not be available since it would not duplicate the experience a new player would have.
But I think after you unlock T2, it is more important. Normally someone would go through the missions more slowly in order to build up resources to complete the missions, but we should not be spending this time to simulate the "build up" period.
As such, please make mats available starting at the knight prestige level, or after 4-1

Edit:
Really, this was more of an issue when I was required to have a 3* set to proceed and had to upgrade the cobalt armors. I didn't notice the chroma suits and was annoyed that I had to find some fine fabrics. I noticed them now (not sure if they were there before), so if they make it so that we can proceed to missions without having to obsess on finding a specific mat (or hunting tokens for trade in) throughout, I think this issue falls away.

A mission that gives 4 of

A testing mission that gives 4 of each 5* mat, 8 of each 4* and so on would have been great. I think for many players testing ends with the "get 4* stuff"-mission, if not already with the "3* version" of that mission. I remember how long it took me to get a meteor mote and things like that just after the game went public, when there were close to no players to trade and no AH... this is just awfully time consuming and does not make any sense to test.

Just remembered:

Make crowns infinite like testing mist too. More players will stop standing around wasting testing time sapping the supply depot and extorting from Kozma.

The general idea is: once you

The general idea is: once you get 5* missions, you'll get 5* items available for purchase. Concentrate on doing missions and giving proper feedback, thanks.
