Though, since I use steam, I can't edit the wiki, I created an alt to do so. I uploaded an image, and then added it to a page. However, when I sign off, I can't see the image. Is there any way to fix this?

It's a known issue. The images are taking an odd amount of time to properly update. I uploaded a new picture for my userpage (a little less than a week ago) and I'm still waiting for it to replace the old one. Also, pressing Ctrl+F5 refreshes and clears the cache, which will show the fully updated page.
Just be patient and it will update ;)
EDIT: Seems mine just updated today, and I had originally uploaded it on Feb. 7th. So it should update in less than a week if the time it takes images to update is relatively consistent.
