Can you find weps?

Is it possible to find a weapon in the game?
I was doing a snarbo run and one of the treasure boxes I broke gave me a brandish. I wish I had a screenshot, but alas I didn't think at the time.
It wasn't traded to me, nor was it in my mailbox: it also clearly said "Pyrohkiin found brandish" in the lower left corner.
I asked other players in the game, but they didn't know of such circumstances. Has anyone ever found a weapon, or had a similar experience?
Any help is appreciated.

I saw a screenshot of a Armor of Fallen (5* item) drop before
but just as Fradow said, those are very rare and you should consider yourself lucky

I've been playing for a few
I've been playing for a few months and the only one I've found was a few weeks ago after Vana, and it was only a 1* firebreak shield :/
I'm keeping it though, for sentimental purposes.

I've gotten two items - Brute
I've gotten two items - Brute Jelly Shield (or one of the 3* brute jelly items) and a wolver cap. I've seen ~9 items drop total, but they always go to someone else unless I am solo.

2 items in the same run
I've gotten two items in the same run before while in a party of 3. Both were Dusker Coats. Gave one to a friend, while the other turned into my Snarbolax.
Just yesterday I got the Emberbreak Helm. Don't really care about it, but always nice to see something other than heat drop. I was thinking if I have ever seen a weapon though. I guess I did find a Crystal Bomb. That would have been my first find.

Sell 'em
I've gotten a few, all of them I have sold. One of which was a Boosted Plate Shield which net me 20k easily, and another was a Sinister Skelly Shield that net me over 100k I think (I don't fully remember anymore xD).
Why? Because they are acquired UNBOUND!

Unless you're gonna need 'em, sell em. I've seen a prismatech alchemer, gotten a troika, and even saw a ash tail coat drop from Jelly King.

I've seen others receive: Wolver Cap (Snarby run) and Crystal Bomb (Jelly Run).
Yes it's possible, although very rare. As far as I know, any item (at least up to 4*) can drop anywhere. But that's VERY rare, as in about once in a month if you play a lot, you'll have a random item, more often 2* than 4*.
One item can only be obtained by this way : it's the very rare (and not so good) Darkfang Shield.
