Which gun should I upgrade, or should I get another type of gun entirely?

Hi, thanks for replying.
I have just the two weapon slots. I play with a sword and a gun, the sword is an Ascended Calibur.
I have not thought much about the damage types, I guess spending so much to upgraded the Caliburs wasnt so smart.
Any further advice is appreciated.
Well, if you swap the calibur for an elemental brandish you'll cover every damage type.
As of now you have 2 pierce guns one shadow and one normal sword but nothing elemental.
Juances is right that you're conspicuously missing an elemental weapon. However, if you were to get an elemental weapon, I'd recommend that it be your gun, not your sword. The reason is that swords are hard to use against turrets, and all turrets are vulnerable or neutral to elemental damage. So here are some possible plans:
Simplest: Get an elemental gun to use with your Calibur.
Gunner: Get an elemental gun, upgrade your Shadowtech to Umbra, and upgrade either Autogun to Blitz or Magnus to Callahan.
Well, I guess those are the plans that seem best to me. And, by the way, there is nothing wrong with using only two weapon slots --- my second character uses only two --- but your loadout is much more flexible with three. If you're playing multiple times per week, then you can pretty easily maintain enough cash flow to keep a third weapon slot. Consider it.
What other weapons do you use? How many weapon slots do you use? We can't advise you on which gun to get, without knowing how it will fit into your loadouts. The key consideration here is that you want at least two non-normal damage types (piercing, elemental, shadow).
