I just want to get some input to see if the gear I have is good enough for the tier i am in, Tier 2.
-Spiral Sallet (gonna get Skelly mask)
-Wizard Cloak
-Defender
-Voltech Alchemizer
-Spur

Any constructive feedback is welcomed. If something is too weak, give me a better suggestion.
Thank you!

What T2 will you be running.

What T2 will you be running. As in, general diving, or will you farm the Royal Jelly Palace for cr like many beginning T2?

Do you prefer a sword/gun hybrid, or 2 swords, or gunner, or part/full bomber?

think about 5-star items now

My advice is to look ahead to the future. Your equipment will end up at the 5-star level after a couple of months, even if you're playing for free. So look at the wiki and the forums, and figure out which 5-star items you want. Then, for each item, simply look back in its alchemy tree and see what 2-star item it comes from. (In some cases, such as Fang of Vog, this won't work; then just pick another item instead.)

Just for starters, this advice prevents you from getting a Spur, because it doesn't go to 5-star.

if u have a spur and u like

if u have a spur and u like it then go ahead and use it. its just that normal damage weapons in general aren't great main weapons because you will get better coverage by using 2 special damage weapons. in that respect your gun choice is very good as the main thing u want to shoot are turrets, and 2/3 kinds of turrets are weak to elemental while the last is neutral to it. i would recommend that u pick up both a piercing sword and a shadow sword or gun then just swap between them depending on which enemies you will be facing. doing this you will have super effective damage against 4 groups of enemies and neutral damage to the remaining 2 (sounds a bit like pokemon XD, probably a good way to think about it too, as understanding type/damage matchups is key to survival).

Okay

I usually just dive, but this time Ill just grind for CR. I usually use a sword/gun hybrid, but i was thinking if I should switch my gun out for a bomb (maybe graviton). Yeah, i will probably get a different sword than spur, but I will keep it for now. I was thinking of getting a flourish, which i think could be good.
So, is my armor all good?

Still need to answer the

Still need to answer the questions in my first post. The more we know about you, the more precise and accurate answers we can give, instead of broadly generalizing everything.

armor

Gjkgfs, you asked about your armor. The 5-star versions are:
* Dread Skelly Mask (normal, shadow, poison, freeze, -fire)
* Divine Mantle (elemental, shadow, fire, shock, curse) or Grey Feather Mantle (normal, elemental, fire, shock, -stun) or Chaos Cloak (normal, elemental, -statuses, damage bonus low)
* Aegis (normal, piercing)

Dread Skelly is fine, although the fire penalty hurts you in FSC, in which a lot of people spend a lot of time.

I don't recommend Chaos Cloak; the penalties are not worth the bonus. Divine Mantle is good, but Divine Veil (the helmet) is better, because it has a fiend bonus. And picking Divine Mantle will leave you low on normal protection. Grey Feather Mantle is fine; that's what I would recommend, of these three.

If you're going to be using any swords, then get Barbarous Thorn Shield over Aegis. It's also normal and piercing, but with a really valuable offensive bonus.

both the vortex bombs are

both the vortex bombs are amazing but if u only have 2 weapon slots i wouldn't really recommend it right now. due to the presence of both lumbers and gun puppies in RJP you'll want some elemental damage along with the obvious shadow weapon for jellies. if u pick up an extra weapon slot then definitely throw in the vortex, it really helps speed things up.

One thing to point out

Defender line sucks, any piercing shield is far better
