So I was curious, What was your first weapon that caught your fancy? It doesn't have to me the main one you use now, we are talking about your first one you striven to obtain. Mine was tied between the Divine Avenger and the Antigua. Being a big fan of "light/holy" weapons and the 6 chamber guns, I loved these at first sight.

I saw someone wearing full vog in haven, rocking a DA, and had to have it. Took me a bit, but got it, was thrilled with it. now with the brandsh buffs, it fell by the wayside, but i remember it fondly
Dread Venom Striker.
As a newb, full 0* with a cutter(LOL) It looked like heaven on earth.
ME: WHOA! A POISON CUTTER THINGY!!! ME WANT!
The very first 2* item I really fell for was the Flourish. My primary reason for trying it out was thanks to a certain character who will remain unmentioned, and the idea of using a swift, elegant weapon while dancing through the Clockworks just appealed to me. Purchasing one at the AH and going into the ATH to play around with it, I just thought, "Wow. This weapon was made for me." It felt incredibly responsive and swift, and I felt like I could do anything I wanted with this wonderful weapon.
"Anything I wanted" ended up being a Lichenous Lair with only my Flourish and a Crystal Bomb equipped. I didn't go back to either for a long while after that.
Figuring I'd set my sights on a normal weapon, I opted for the awesomely animated Wild Hunting Blade instead. I fondly remember it as having my first ever UV on it - CTR Medium while crafting to 5*.
As an aside, I was fairly impressed with the DA and its charge after someone's demonstration in the ATH, but I've never been the kind of player who likes slow, heavy characters/weapons. Glass cannons/fragile speedsters forever!
Hot Edge/Searing Edge. I followed that sword up with my fireburst brandish, but I still miss setting things on fire with every swing :-D
The flourish really gave me a sense of control ever since I first used it. Even now it's useful to cancel attacks or quickly push mobs.

Even though I was confused about my role when I started and up to November, I got then a SS(sun) today and it was love in first battle. Wolver/Flourish/Snarble Barb clones go nothing on me!!!

Got it, was doing pre rjp arenas as a 2* nub with other 2/3* nublets. We all get destroyed by mecha wave. I revive, backed myself into a corner, and proceeded to sing trololol while smacking incoming mechas away from me. Yey for not dying.
I'm not really sure. I worked on several weapons at once. My first 5* weapon was a Nova Driver, though.
I would have went after the Acheron first if it existed at the time. When they released the 5* brandishes I really wanted an Acheron so I bought a Silent Nightblade for like 30kcr. Ah, the days before the autobind patch~

Troika; First and only weapon so far. ;) I thought it looked pretty sweet because of it's size, and I thought the moss on the tip was a nice addition. The Sudaruska is what really made me like this sword though. It's made up of shattered metal!
Leviathan was my first 5* sword and it continues to be my mainstay. Now I have a Final Flourish, and I like it better against the enemies that are weak to piercing, but if I had to play the game with only one weapon, it'd be Leviathan Blade, hands down. It's basically good at everything.
Jelly set and calibur! Way back when jelly king wasn't really a cakewalk for everyone, antiguas and sealed swords costed 25 tokens, and it sort of meant something to use one of them.
First wep I got was antigua and turned it into blackhawk because I never saw anyone with it and thought it was unique :3
Then found out it sucked. I was still just using Calibur on literally everything with its normal attacks so I could use whatever wep I wanted for my second slot xD.

I have a really long story about this one.
So I came from FPS's to this MMORPG, so inherently, I wanted a spray gun to relive MMO moments.
I actually looked over the entire wiki upon reaching Haven, and instantly set my eyes on the Blitz Needle.
Course I go an grab an autogun.
Not being able to kite is not the most appealing feeling, honestly.
By then, bombing had caught my eye, (explosives are cool) so I went and settled on Nitronome.
Upon grabbing a blast bomb, I learned rapidly spamming is inadvisable in parties.
So for a while, I settled on Shivermist Buster. Freezing Vaporizers are good enough for parties. They make everything all and easy go over.
Till my eye finally caught Radiant Sun Shards.
Not a 5*, so cheap. Highly damaging, so fun to use.
It was my first piece of endgame gear.
Day in, day out, it sees use repeatedly.
I love it to death. I sometimes nickname it "My Pride And Joy"
And no matter what the threat, be it a pile of retrodes, a horde of zombies, a Trojan, a couple lumbers, or a few beasts.
I pull her out and start decimating.
If I could name one weapon that keeps me bombing today, its RSS. Without it, I feel more vulnerable than a mouse. Exceptions made for Gremlin or Slime environments of course...

Shameful Sudaruska, I still thinks it's pretty and it was the 5 star i went for when i was a noob.
Followed closely by Nitronome, which was a good decision ^^
I don't remember if it was the DA or if it was the hot edge first.. I believe I found out about the hot edge first, but shortly I saw magnus' video of the beta version of vanaduke, and him killing it with the DA charge and then I wanted DA.
Then I found out about AP, and I wanted that to go with the DA.
I'm pretty sure the Argent Peacemaker was the first to catch my eye and then the Divine Avenger. I have a divine avenger (my first 5*) and i have a silversix with 2 uv's that i'll craft after i make my vog cub coat soon
lets see... well i became a bomber and fell in love with the clunky bulky demo suit at first sight, and so i statred looking at bombs.... the shivermist buster caught my eye , when it was being used in my party ad i thought it was the coolest thing! and i still think so to this day... i named him Chrys... my first 5* anything too
I really wanted a Callahan after I first got my hands on a Magnus, and then I wanted even more when I found out the bullets were blue. Seriously, it's just the color that does it for me. Before that I wanted an Antigua since I thought it would annihilate Snarby and it looked awesome. But really, the first item I really wanted was Blazebreak gear.
My first weapon crush would definitely be the Autogun. The appearance of it was so unique and amazing, like a minigun handgun!
Then later I wanted an Antigua, and have loved it ever since.
first was calibur line (then made the mistake making it into a CIC) so i started a new one haha (stopped at 4* for the next one)
then i fell in love with the faust (it made me do my first RJ run and also didn't die in the prosess haha) and because of it also 2 ASI trinkets
for a gun it was allways the polaris i was aiming for (also the argeant peacemaker but then i found out how useless it is and i should have gone for e pure piercing instead -> alltough it would be awsome as a pure piercing)
The first weapon to do this for me was the Cryotech Alchemer. It was beast, and I destroyed everything with it when I was a rookie.
The Argent peacemaker was the first weapon to really catch my I and then I saw the
DA which went so nicely with the AP. However, I discovered you needed jelly gems from the
royale jelly to purchase the Sealed sword and I though that would take forever to get.
So I looked on the wiki and my eyes came across the CIV; it was beautiful.....love at first sight some might say.
I knew there were better swords out there but I figured the CIV would work until I got the DA.
Oddily enough, I've still yet to get my AP. I love the silversix but it's just not the best gun out there.
I'm waiting for the Antigua line update.

When I first played SK, a friend of mine gave me a Static Edge as a beginner sword, and I absolutely love the fact that I can shock the creatures in front of me with the sword.
Then, when I wanted to upgrade my weapon, I initially wanted to upgrade the Edge, but sadly it only goes to 2*. After asking around, I found out about the Brandish line and immediately set my sights on a freezing sword (I love ice and water when it comes to natural elements in games). Glacius was my initial target, and I crafted a Brandish for this purpose.
However, when I started playing PUGs, I noticed that the fire element deals damage as compared to the other two elements (I haven't learned the finer details of the status effects yet). So I changed tracks and upgraded that Brandish all the way into a Combuster. Never regretted that decision, and it's still my primary sword until now.
I was initially drawn to the calibur and actually made an ASI high one as my noob-sword. I still have it as a Leviathan, tho' I rarely ever use it.
Visually, I love the look of the Cautery Sword and wish there were a 5* sword with that same skin. Maybe just larger and functional, like the calibur line.

Bomb: Voltaic Tempest (bought a Static Capacitor off the AH for like 30k cr, haven't regretted it yet)
For me it was
Sword: Cold Iron Vanquisher (quickly changed to DA)
Gun: Supernova (I wanted because of the cool name, changed to polaris)
Bomb: Graviton vortex (Because, HOLY BALLS A BLACK HOLE)
The earliest weapon I remember thinking "that's cool, I gotta try that" was Spur. Too bad it didn't work out in the end.
The very first thing I did in SK, before even getting 2-star armor, was buying the Flourish, Rigadoon, and Flamberge. I have yet to find any weapons in the game that give me as much control as stabby-stabby weapons.
I mean, it isn't like constructs or jellies are prevalent anywhere, right Lombardi?

First weapon I tried to get - snarble barb. Because it was easy to get :)
For me it was Acheron. I thought it looked very cool and the fact that you carry the scabbard in your shield hand made it look unique. And of course what could be cooler than shooting splosions out of a sword? The main thing that drew my attention though was both its name (from Greek mythology, the river of pain, one of five that flowed through the underworld) and its description. Something about the whole driving people to madness thing appealed to me. I tend to be drawn to things that are kind of dark and haunting.
Other weapons I liked from an early stage (just from researching them on the wiki) were DA, FoV and Wild Hunting Blade (though I actually ended up crafting the poison line instead...). The first gun I ever used was the Firotech Alchemer (yes, even before the proto gun, I actually never knew I had one :S lol) I absolutely loved the fire status but the 2 shot clip annoyed me. Subsequently its seen very little use since I crafted a Polaris (don't tend to use guns much in general due to playing on a laptop and not having a mouse).
Leviathan for me as well. Practically my first 5* weapon craft, as well as it being my first main weapon. It went along rather nicely with my Freezing Atomizer(Which than became a Shivermist Buster.) and it help be a stepping stone to acquire my other weapons.
Now a days, I don't use it much, since it only deals normal; and while normal isn't bad, it's not really all that useful either(Except for Vana's Mask phase of course. :P)
Hey me too! :D I don't know why, but its that kind of dark and creepy stuff that attracts me. It's just sooo much more different and interesting than the typical "good guy's"/"sunshine,lollipops, and rainbows" stuff.
Hmm.... I wanted a DA for my "final sword". But then I changed my mind, and went for DVS (this was when DVS was the best fit for jelly king, due to him not pushing you back from attacking) and then I made it my first 4* weapon... oh the excitements. After that, I got a silversix. I was VERY good with my dear silversix, and even solo'd a jelly danger room with it (for those of you whom remember those awful things). I eventually used these in FSC as a T2 player.. didn't make it to duke, died right before him lol. Still was quite an adventure though.
my first 5* (stuff) i wanted was vog set :P grey owlite :P and after a while once i started to learn about the game CIV *FALCAWN PAWNCH* ^-^ but i went toward the DA now i has cic UV undead low :D soon to be civ undead low (did i menchin it has undead LOW UV) and polaris ^-^ witch i just crafter TODAY :D
When I started I looked everywhere... the spinning charge attack caught my eye. A fellow knight(who quit game shortly after) made me a Calibur. Oh how joyed I was :P. I researched and chose the path of the Vanquisher... because it looked awesome. And that was that, I rarely use my CIV today though i still keep it around as a reminder. Still the only weapon which I'm always familiar with.~ I just love the lack of knock back.. less flying bull towards your teammates and less chasing needed to finish off an enemy.
It was some one letting me play with a Pulsar that got me interested in this game in the first place, though to be fair it also had a lot to do with Lumbers, Jelly Cubes, Gun Puppies, and the aesthetics of either Aurora Isles or Jigsaw Valley- I can't remember which it was. The next weapon for me to covet was the Snarble Barb. I adore the name, the satisfying responsiveness, and the way it looks like a hot poker- very low-tech, effectively simple and straitforward. ...elegantly crude, if you will.
Some time later, the Nightblade and Magnus independently caught my fancy and I only realised after I got both of them how wonderfully they worked together against Gremlins- especially before the patch that removed their convenient dodging behaviour.
I also ended up getting a Troika for the charge attack sound effect, pretty lichen/rust/whatever, charge attack sound effect, good reach and knockback, charge attack sound effect, and so I could try both a Normal-damage sword and a heavy sword. There were other weapons in between those, but those are the ones I most remember deciding that I must have.
