Basically, i came up with a way to translate damage into numbers in Lockdown.
Class: Recon
Weapon: Troika

I was able to get Solarflar to cooperate with me to do this testing. Thanks to him!

Heres what I did: I got the death mark on him. Then, i hit him with the first hit of the troika. He reported 3.5 bars.

First troika hit damage: (According to wiki at Stratum 3): 98 Damage

Because of the Death mark, i did a raw 98 damage to Solar. He reported that the hit took away 3.5 bars.

This means that 98/3.5 = 28

In tier 2, each bar of health is equivalent to 28 damage. Ill do further testing to confirm this number.

Why don't you death mark him,

Why don't you death mark him, hit him once, and then let time run out? that way the game will show you exactly how much damage was dealt.

The game doesn't display half bars and T2 Lockdown does not necessarily correspond to Stratum 3. Better just to kill someone once and record how much damage you did vs how much hp they have.

And if anyone is interested, you could yes this in tier 3 as well. I'm not quite there yet, so I can't.

If you want to actually figure out how much damage your first hit is doing you would need to hit him with just the first hit, then not hit anybody else the entire match. Check the damage numbers given at the end of the match to see how much you did, then you can compare it to how many bars they lost. You also need to be wearing something that does not give you a damage bonus to your swords (trinkets, armor, or Striker/Guardian class) for accurate numbers.

Also, killing someone will not tell you how much health they had, just how much damage you did. As can be seen over and over in the clockworks it is very easy to overkill something.

The other issue you will run into is the game only displays empty, half, and full bars. Say a bar is 40 HP, 0 would be an empty bar, 1-20 would be a half bar, and 21-40 would be a full bar. There is no way to know exactly how much the half bar is.
