so i cant log in to my steam-based spiral knights account, and its really worrying me. when i launch the game from my steam library, my avatar in the bottom corner never turns green to signify that i am in-game, and when the spiral knights window opens up, it is the internet version where the only options are insert username and password or login as guest. someone please help me, im kinda losing it. i have tried so many things......
steam launching a version of spiral knights uncompatible with steam
i have tried verifying cache files, restarting steam and my computer, uninstalling and reinstalling, and even banging my fists against the desk (which im surprised didnt work). I wonder if there is a way to take it off browser mode?
There was something about some people needing to either enable or disable steam community in-game.
Personally, I've never run into that problem and I do use steam.
i tried logging into my alternate account (which is not a steam account) using the window that was launched from steam. it said I was able to use in-game steam chat, but it still didnt have the option to login to my steam- spiral knights account
Have you actually installed through steam or did you just add non steam game to your library?
I think is a problem for MAC user.
Also i can't login into spiral knight with my steam account.
Spiral Knight Game don't find Steam i Think...Is a Bug of the last update. Two days ago all work...Now...Crap! Don't work... I think that the last patch have some bug. ç_ç

I also have the same problem.
I can no longer use my steam account to play. I only see a check box "Guest user" instead of the usual "Use Steam account." The strange thing is that this only happens to those who use an Apple computer. My girlfriend using Windows can safely use his steam account.
I use a Mac OSX 10.5.8 with Steam.
This is for me a very big problem. Why in my steam account is my main character with whom I have purchased Energy. And do not think it's just not able to log.
Best I can say is "you are not alone", as I have the exact same problem. I don't believe this is the section of the forum to be asking for help with technical problems, however. If you check out 'Technical Issues', there is a thread where I have posted and people appear to be having the same issue. Suggestions made have been restarting your computer, steam, reinstalling, etc... Though I have found none of the above work for me. I presume you've already tried all that though.
