CE limit!

There is a CE limit put on your purchasing of CE. It's on a weekly basis, and every time you hit your limit, the limit for the following week is doubled. I don't know the exact numbers, but it would be something like this:

Week 1: $250 max
Week 2: $500 max
Week 3: $1000 max

etc.

Although I think it may cap at around $800 per week. The amount of $$ you have spent is reset each week. So don't worry, just lay off the spending for a few days.

Considering I used to know

Considering I used to know kids who had a $40 week allowance, who says he has a job :-P

Anyways, it is a monthly limit that caps at $200 and goes up to $800. You can contact OOO to increase the limit, but I don't know how often they really do that. You can follow this link to find more information.

Traev, you are wrong

it's actually based on a 30 day period, not monthly, but over 30 days, allow me to quote Thalia, the wonderful sir/madam that has dealt with my CE purchase issues.:

First of all, let me explain a little more about the spending limits we have
in place: We realize that it's a nuisance when you are keen to make a
purchase, but we have a policy of monitoring purchases, credit card and PayPal
usage for accounts to provide protection from unexpected charges and
fraudulent use. All accounts start out with a spending limit of $200 for a 30
day period - not a calendar month, but the past 30 days. This limit will
easily be enough for the vast majority of players, but some may wish to spend
more for various reasons. As you spend near this limit it will automatically
go up to $400 and $800 slowly over time. Should you wish to raise your Spiral
Knights account's spending limit ahead of schedule, you can contact us and we
will review your account to see if this is possible.

This should cover it all

If you're gonna spend over $200 on energy...

Wow you have a lot of money to spend. If you have lots of time to play, i suggest you buy an elevator pass instead so you don't need energy for runs. If you need energy for crafting, well... $200 worth of CE makes it too easy >:I

?

You can't lower the price of CE On the trade, but it all depends on how much we buy and sell.bb bbb

Yeah... your point being?

Yeah... your point being? That's exactly what we are talking about. He buys a ton of CE using IRL money, sells it ingame, and the price lowers.
