curse inflicting gun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hi there, just another suggestion, everybody knows how the faust and gran faust can inflict curse right? well, that makes a sword that can do that, but what about gunslingers? where does that leave them? sure the umbra driver and sentenza do lots of shadow damage, but still, no curse!
so i think there should be either a new gun that inflicts curse, or make it so either the umbra driver or sentenza can do that!

Let's give it a 1/10000 to do med. curse. that way everyone can enjoy.
You forgot that bombers can't curse either, gravi vortex is our only shadow bomb.

oh yeah sorry to all you bombers out there

i just forgot, because i really hate bombs, they prove unwieldy to me, but don't wanna forget you bombers. and the gun, it wouldn't ruin anything, because in the shadow lairs, unless facing the ice queen, it wouldn't be the best option, just like nightblade, and actually a ranged curse would be very fair, because isin't the GF charge a ranged one? :U

that is out of context, the GF has a ranged curse attack too

i specified that GF has a ranged curse attack too, so it is already deemed fair by OOO

It DOES have a Ranged Charge Attack, but it Still Curses you. Curse is very Powerful, & can Kill you very Easily if you're not careful. If you want a Curse inflicting Gun that Doesn't Inflict Curse on the Owner, then it will become VERY Over-Powered. Even if you DID add it so that the Wielder gets Cursed for Shooting too much, it would make them Vulnerable almost all the time.

Shoot, Shoot, Curse for 10 Sec.

...

Shoot, Cursed for 10 Sec.

...

Shoot, Shoot, Shoot, Shoot, Shoot, Shoot, Shoot, Curse for 10 Sec.

...

Shoot, Curse for 10 Sec, etc.

yeah, ik iron

it could be like sentenza with bullets, and the bullet has a chance of exploding inside the chamber when firing, giving you curse!

also, i just said charge attack, and i meant a small chance, like maybe 5-10%.

Did you Even Read my Post Clear?

Even if it did Curse you, it would be BAD for Gunners, because they need to Defend themselves a LOT more than Swordies/Bombers.

well, true...

i agree, but really, for endgame i want to stray towards gunslinger, but before i do, i want much more expansion in the gunslinger region, more gear, specified shields, more trinkets, i mean the only option you have, is the gunslinger line, and then you just pick the most massive shield that you can find, this is why i suggested dual wielding.

Dual Wielding is Also not necessary in this Game.

True, Gunners don't have Most Advantages Swordies & Bombers have, but they DO have somethings Specified Towards them:

-Dragon Scale Shield is used by some Gunners I know, due to them always being behind the Group, Supporting them with Shots & Blocking Enemy Projectiles, which are usually Gun Pup's Elemental Bullets or Polyp's Spike "Missiles."

-Swiftstriker Buckler is used by Most Gunners, due to Gunners almost not needing to Shield, but to Shoot, Shoot, Shoot. The Speed Bonus this Shield Offers is very Benificial to them.

-The Antigua Lines are getting Changes, making Blackhawk Dealing Pure Shadow & Argent Peacemaker Pure Elemental. This will make many Gunners happy.

-The Trinkets King Krogmo allows you to Craft are great for Gunners, especially the Elite Trueshot Modules. 2 of these + Swiftstrike + Gunner Set = Valuable Gunner.

I'm also pretty Certain OOO has a few things up their Sleeves, making new Gear in the Future, to provide Players more Benefits.

I'm DYING over here....

And -1 to OP. Curse is a VERY powerful weapon, and this WOULD render the Faust/Shadowtech series obsolete. Shadowtech because why use a shadow gun when you can have a shadow CURSE gun?

Aren't gunners supposed to be shooting from a safe distance, away from enemies?
So unless you have a 'bait player' or are cursing turrets, the enemy will never autodamage itself compared to a melee fighter.

Now this weapon is overpowered in mixed groups but useless when solo/full gunner party.

Curse seems overpowered, only because the only sources of curse are vials and faust, which both cause strong curse.

As long as the gun causes moderate curse instead of strong curse like the rest of the alchemers, it should be fine...

I think your logic is backwards. Curse isn't overpowered because there are so few items that can cause it; the real reason is: there are so few items that can cause it BECAUSE it's so powerful.

And if you'll notice Curse vials have a lower drop rate than any other vials.

Curse has a moderately long status time, even if you have some Curse resistance. This can potentially render you useless for up to about 40-ish seconds. Attacking during this time frame with any cursed weapon is suicide, especially in PvP where it deals like 8 pips to you every time you attack.
