Being argumentative again, are we Ellthan? Thanatos is referred to quite often in Greek mythology as the personification of death, please do more research before trying to call someone out on something that you think is incorrect. Also, Thanatos has a nice ring to it, certainly better than Agamemnon.

I am from Greece and that was TODAY 's lesson in school, so yea, I DID my research.

Agamemnon was a king of Athens and the lead general for the siege of Troy by the way. (it sounds a lot better with the Greek pronunciation.)

P.S. Where did you hear that and were did you do your research?

I thrust that more than your teachers. Thanatos = god of death, or some analogy for the modern 'Grim Reaper'

I read the Wikipedia and I still know stand by my opinion, the Actual god is still Harodas, the god that took the souls of the mortals across Aherodas with his boat. Also what are you going to trust more? A site that can be edited by anyone or the actual books of the culture the god comes from?

P.S. In all the ancient texts I have read (in Greece we have a lesson called ancient Greek, we read and translate ancient texts and ancient grammar) Death is NEVER referred to as Thanatos, and the texts I read are originals taken from the actual ancient books writem by Greeks.

P.S.S When the Greek ministry of education approved these books and pretty sure they weren't approving ''poop'' that isn't even real.

P.S.S.S Harodas is not the grim reaper, he did not take souls from the world of the living, he just ''opened the door for them'', the souls were taken by Hermes.

Trust me, sometimes a native knows better about his own culture that you. (As hard as it might be for you to believe it)

ARGUE THAT!

Why you must spark an argument? I won't say anything dragging me in but just this: I got my information from Percy Jackson books.

I have a lot of Percy Jackson books as well, and even though they have the general image right, they inaccurate and have changed some things to make them more interesting to the public.

Well, I made an extensive search through all the mythology books at the library and some google searches. The ONLY time Haros came up was a wikipedia article, saying very briefly the name was interchangeable with Charon. Didn't you say those weren't reliable? In all seriousness, Greek mythology has been translated and fictionalized so much there's not much you can really hold to be "true" at face value.

Anyway, my name would probably be something Celtic, like Vercingetorix. I know my friend would be Nuadha Airgetlam, or just Nuadha.

I would go with "waffleconecake" with current image, "Timothy P." witha devil IT that has round shades and earrings, or "Harweld S.", a Tire 3 Gremlin scorcher who would also have earrings.
Or maybe just "Bulb" and have one of those light bulbs form ember light as my profile Pic.

Well my sources y are reliable because they were taught in Greek schools before even internet came to Greece, so I think I can easily say they are reliable and true, btw my name would be

Homer (the epic poet) I changed my mind.

P.S. Charon and Haros is the same thing in Greek.
