i dont know why the developers needed to interefere with certain gates having all / nearly all the same strata.
it would be cool to get a few gates all having all the same strata types (different for each gate though), and maybe only those gates without pre-determined boss stages in them (so we can see levels might be specific to a strata depth, if any). people with the right gear can plow straight through, and I wonder if we'd see any stages we hadn't before? would be easier to check that way. i know i havent played a number of the poison/devil maps still.
You know, I was thinking about the whole, "boost" system. Wouldn't it make more sense to make certain minerals worth "more" to the gate, instead of trying to raise the amount of crowns you get back, since most people just auto sell anyway?
Essentially what the boost system does IS make those minerals worth more. But it's oppressively expensive to boost by even +1. I mean, 1.2 million to go from 0 to +1? An entire guild might be able to foot that bill, but it still doesn't guarantee it'll fill properly.
I also want constructs only! Nothing more awesome that dodging that bullet hell from puppies plus constructs really have a lot of variety imo. On a unrealistic note I would also like a graveyards only gate :P

They don't make them worth more to the gate, just to the players. But most players don't sell individual minerals, they just hit the autosell button, so it is virtually irrelevant. It would make more sense, especially for that much money, if the mineral that was boosted contributed more to the gate than an unboosted one.
I only care about the last three stratums (4-6). I vote fiend/undead/gremlin. Do whatever you please with the first three :]
I like the Ice Factory maps. We have a pretty good string of them right now and they're enjoyable.
Graveyard only would be fun, perhaps for Halloween?
Oh you mean "2 for 1" boosting or something. Yeah for 1.2 million I'd think that would make more sense for boosting.
