I am going to either get Almirian Crusader or Azure Guardian sets (I might also get the Snarby set), but I don't know which to pick.
Does anyone know which I would be better off with?
Should i go for Almirian Crusader or Azure Guardian?

It shouldn't be too late to start working on another set, a set that will help you more.
Ideally, you want separate armour sets that protects against pierce, shadow, and elemental. 3 different sets, to cover everything. Make sure each of those sets also protect against normal.
Or, you can play risky and equip the armour that benefits your weapon of choice the most. Mostly swords? Use any of the wolver line. Gunslinger for guns, and volcanic demo/mad bomber for bombs.

Just a reminder, you know that almirian and snaborlax require you to do at least 1 sahdow lair right?
Unless you are rich enough to buy from other players, but then again there are better ways to spend your money.

Neither, because both suck
Azure Guardian: Normal + Piercing; no status resistances or offensive bonuses at all
Almirian Crusader: Normal + Shadow; no offensive bonus; curse resist, fire penalty

What is your goal? Are you going for looks? Then pick the one that looks best. Or are you going for actual utility in combat? Then why are you considering these two, rather than other armors? If you're interested in piercing armor, then get Skolver (if you use swords) or maybe Justifier (if you use guns). My advice on armor for sworders is here.
No one has mentioned here yet that Almirian Crusader armor and Snarbolax armor can be crafted only in the Shadow Lairs. So neither is a practical choice for your first set of 5-star armor.

Just in case this is a real post, remember that most of the cost of a 5* item is tied up in the craft from 4* -> 5* so it is not too late to cut your losses (bugger, guess I've been trolled too now that I have weighed in as well).

You won't believe how many people actually wear the entire cobalt set up to 5*, throughout every single stratum there is.
Can you state more context please ? What armors you already have and what you intend to use those for ?
Anyway, without knowing that, my advice would be to not get either one. Both are bad and outclassed by other armors. Unless you want one for costum, and the choice is purely yours, because it's subjective.
