I've been a soloist these past few days. I like the feeling of spamming Blast Bombs in peace, having Shards be uninterrupted, and easier time kiting as I don't have to worry about a teammate running at me in the opposite direction.
It's also made me develop into less of the "Support Specialist" and more into the "All out Damage Machine."
Now I'm back at parties.
And having a new unexpected difficulty.
I know very well Radiant Sun Shards can aggro distant enemies.
My problem with that is sometimes I might aggro something I meant to leave to my ally.
Or worse still, aggro a turret that we were meaning to save for when we had cleared most of a room.
My friends are very understanding.
But still, I don't like the guilt that comes with the feeling that "you killed someone cause you misaimed a shard and set off an enemy or blast cube... or stuff of that nature."
So, fellow demolition men, what are your techniques for reducing this side effect of an otherwise well-intentioned shard placement?
as for shards... the shards ah yes the shards... generally i dont use shards unless the enemies are clumped up in a manner which i can have all shards deal damage to an enemy in the group, single or several times, not only macimizing damage output, but keeping those wandering shards contained ! this is more risky, but allows you to have a more potent blast
