I'm kinda confused on how many crowns are needed for so many 2 star and up weapons. Some of the prices kids put on their items are just way overpriced. Anyone have any comments or stories about this?
AH prices for weapons, good, bad or just plain Weird?
Catalyzers/Pulsars/Static Capacitors/Snarble Barbs/Spine Cones/Sealed Swords/Antiguas all come bound from the token trader (Brinks), they all require unbinding and thats why some 2* and 3* are so expensive.
I find weapons in the AH unbound costing so much.Even when they have no upgrades.
Perhaps posting some of such weapons you deem to be too expensive, and we can tell you why it might be so.
some people just hope a noob comes buy and buys the first thing they see, or the person who posed it for sale never took the time to figure out the going rate and figured that a 2* item should be worth that much since that is what they paid to craft it. For example, I have seen wolver caps for 5kcr, even though you can buy a generic wolver cap for ~1.2kcr.
Yeah, if you don't already remember to sort by buy price if you're buying stuff at ah. Really except for boss token items it's very rare not to find the 2star stuff you're looking for for under 3k, the most popular gear should be a lot closer to 1k because people ragecraft them for UVs.
I was able to find Wolver Coat and Cap each for 1800 once
"Some of the prices kids put on their items are just way overpriced."
The items I put up on AH are always overpriced. That's the only reason selling them is profitable. Obvious explanation is obvious?
Of course, there's profitably overpriced and then there's unprofitably unrealistic. A 2.6k BIN Cutter is smart. A 5k BIN Cutter is silly.
Also, 1.8k cr for non-UV is solidly in the "profitably overpriced" range. 800 is the most I'll pay for those these days, else my inventory builds up faster than I can sell it.
2* is cheaper than crafting, most of the time. Same thing for 3*. Anything 4* and above has an unbinding cost that needs to be payed back. Nothing over 3*, other than drops from treasure boxes, comes unbound. The crafting from 3-4 requires 5 levels of heat, which requires you to equip and bind the item to yourself.
If you speak of uv's, good uv's are always expensive. But recent calculations and theory crafting on chance of good uv has showed that currently, good uv's (like vh/high ctr, asi) are massively underpriced for their rarity.
