Hi there,
I'm fairly new to the game, so I've been trying to rack up a bit of extra dough at the auction.
As such, the 'Bids' tab tends to be quite long. I probably have about 100 listings under it.
Though, probably about 1/3 of them are Ended.
Basically, now whenever I access the bids tab there's a small freeze roughly 10 seconds, and this is usually accompanied by more freeze time if I make a bid increment, or if anybody outbids me. Seems to be a problem with refreshing a long list of items.
I don't experience this freeze when updating my bid or being outbid from the the searching tab.
I suppose it's possible it's my computer, but I'm running 3gigs of RAM and 2.2 dual core CPU, and a decent video card.
As a semi- separate issue, I tried crafting my Brandish into a nightblade. My first attempt ended up in a server error - the blue text didn't even fit the window... No biggie, after a pause, I tried again, and it worked, BUT, it switched the item to be upgraded. That is, I had 2 brandish swords, and in between the error, it switched them around.
For a low level scrub like myself, there's no major loss, though, the second brandish did have a UV and lost it in the process, and now I have 2 bound weapons, rather than the 1 I had intended - the UV brandish was due for auction :P.
I'm sure you can see how if that had been 2 four star swords the owner would be quite crushed.
Cheers!
In case anybody else is having similar issues - as I found this report:

I don't believe this is the problem, though I do notice unusual performance loss, ie, lowered frame rates while near the Auction house for extended periods.
Usually moving around a bit clears this for whatever reason.
The freeze I'm describing is a full freeze - the mouse cursor remains as whatever icon it was before the freeze - though it will move, the music in the game comes to a full stop, and I'm unable to interact with anything for the extent of the latency.
