I know this will probably take a while, but I hope the NPC interaction gets improved...I kinda want to talk to them just for the sake of talking, but all I get is "Want to hear about energy?"

Knights are playable characters.

The gold thing
surrounding the Cradle...the thing you see on the background of the main page that makes the Cradle look like a globe.
I'm pretty sure other players are intended to be your conversational pieces, not the NPCs.
What do you expect them to say? Ask about your day? Talk to you about shoes?
