I just put a pair of fancy glasses with a starting bid of 30k and buy out of 55k on AH. I went to look around the forums later and found someone offered 100k for a pair. Did I just make the most stupid mistake ever O.O??

you can always cancel your auction unless someone bid on it. If you have the CR and a good friend (or alt), you can always buy it back (paying a 10% penalty) and then sell it to whoever is willing to pay double what you are currently asking. Or, I could go on, buy it for 55k and sell it for 100k :-P
Anyways, just because someone offered 100k on the forums, doesn't mean you'll be able to find a second person who will pay 100k.
I sold a Poison Max! wolver cap on the AH for like 1.25kce (I bought 1.25kce, so it sold for even more than that and obviously in CR). I couldn't find anyone in the forums or the trade channel to buy it for that price. Oddly enough, someone asked about it shortly after it sold on the AH :-P
Well it depends on, but to be honest, I watched the other glasses (military, cool etc) on the AH and I saw actually your price is all right compared to the others.
To give you a tip, before you bid an item in the AH, just look up how much worth is it in AH.
But be careful, Prismatic and other rare items could be sell for a good price.
P.S. Mistakes happens, I once bought something really expensive and found out it's actually much cheaper when searching trough the AH <<
