The actual scene you got the knight on was easily made I must say...

I didn't actually make the 3D
I didn't actually make the 3D renders, they were obtained from various sources (with permission) and blended in together via smudging, gradient maps, and clipping masks.
The black box-like renders are random things I added -- you can interpret them how ever you want (robot cookies).
