So, I recently came back from a break and was standing in Haven when I started getting friend and guild invites because I was guildless and standing in a crowded area. Now I don't find invites that irritating as it doesn't get in my face that much, but one thing I've always wondered is why do people send friend invites and guild invites without writing anything in them?
I mean is it too much to ask for just a line or two saying something like "Hi, would you like to join my guild?" then maybe some description about your guild maybe. I honestly wouldn't accept invites from random people without so much as a hi from them.
Anyone else wish that people would put a little effort when sending friend requests or guild invites? If I'm going to be your friend or guildmate, I would very much like to know a little more about you/the guild first. Could just be me being silly but i don't know.
I hate that, i really do. I get the same (including guild invites) and I usually reply asking them if i know them somehow. Stock answer: no, you just look cool. I then explain that i don't accept random requests, and leave it at that. I have no use for people like that.
