Jelly Gardens Drop Glitch?
Not sure if this has been mentioned before (I did a couple of searches, but they resulted in nothing), but here goes.
In the (EDIT) second of the jelly garden levels, in the beginning (right after the party button, in the room you have to go in a circle to get the stone to put on the button to open the gate), if you kill the jelly cubes by where the bushes are (next to the gate), the drops float waaaay high above us. We can still pick them up, but I just thought it was odd that they float like that, so I figured it would probably be worth mentioning in case no one had caught that.
I don't think it's a "high priority" bug, as the drops are still attainable, but it might throw people off, so it's something to consider. :)
As an aside: Thanks devs for all your hard work! I'm really happy to see that the suggestions from the forums, and the bugs that are being pointed out are being looked at, and either implemented or fixed. I really appreciate it. :D
Phantoms, from what I can tell, are supposed to do that though, to make them more difficult. And phantoms aren't drops, they're pure evil incarnated, and they can actually roam (where drops cannot). So this issue, I'm fairly certain, does not apply in any way to the phantoms.
This instance occurs (at least in my experience) only in that particular spot on that level. It probably has something to do with the bushes being there, but even if you cut away the bushes (which usually happens anyway if you're fighting the jelly cubes in that area), the drops still appear to be floating several feet above your character.
And aside from this particular case, I have never seen drops floating in the air. So I don't know these "many situations" you're referring to. But if you come across more floating drops, I'm sure the devs would love to know where they are.
It's been in all sorts of levels. The drops somehow are appearing on a higher floor/strata than they are actually occupying. More prevalent on stairs, or next to walls, from what I've seen, although I didn't pay it too much mind, so my memory may be slightly off. Definitely got some from killing Retros, though, so it's prevalent in other levels, as well.
So it was actually in the second of the levels, but I thought it was the first one. Sorry about any potential confusion, edited the first post to reflect this.
Is that in Tier3? Because I haven't done much in Tier3, so I've only been talking of Tier1&2 experiences. >.>
This can happen in many situations. A good example is the red guys on Graveyard levels. When you knock them onto something elevated they will go on top of it. Seems like height is only a visual aspect in some cases.
