So far, it seems like zombies do more shadow damage than normal now. Trojan smash is still all normal. Dash is part shadow, as is the power-up.

What else have you guys found?

Gremlins

Gremlins are now doing split Elemental/Normal, if not pure elemental at times. I haven't seen them in T3, but I remembered seeing a few green pips fly around when I was doing the tier 2 missions.

Yeah, thwackers and bombers

Yeah, thwackers and bombers are doing elemental now. Kind of makes the (heavy) deconstructor seem a bit out of place as pure normal. *cough*hintforOOO*cough*

I agree with Nicoya...

I am a bomber, and I approve of that mesage. Heavy Dceon should be made at least aplit norm/ele, and keep the construct bonus to give it the same damage as a 5* bomb would. It would finally have a use, we'd finally get our elemental DPS bomb, AND it looks good to boot!

Yeah it seems like the Trojan

Yeah it seems like the Trojan Charge Attack is stronger now, seems to damage my Volcanic Plate Shield more. It could be doing shadow damage which would explain it as my VPS has no shadow defense, but I don't think the charge attack shows as purple color....still showing red for normal I think.

Zombie Jump Attack is different too. Causes damage mid-jump.....it's annoying as it's like an area attack, I've been hit by zombies jumping at others.

That's ridiculous they

That's ridiculous they decided to add elemental damage to thwackers, they are armed with simple hammers there's no place for elemental damage!
If developers really need gremlins thwackers to do elemental they could at least make it the same way as it's already made with mecha-knights - some still do pure normal and some do normal/elemental but carry different swords that clearly show what to expect.

And new zombie jump attack is really annoying.

Didn't have much trouble with trojan's charge attack but it makes VPS break faster...

Hammers are elemental. Get it

Hammers are clearly supposed to be elemental. Get it right.

It is a tool/weapon made of

It is a tool/weapon made of metal, it is clear that a swing with a heavy metal thing does normal damage, now tell me where does elemental damage comes from? (no batteries, heating or cooling elemets aren't visible on wrench hammer)

.....yeaaaaaaa

Counter logic:
Just like how massive swords can cause freeze, it's possible to curse things with liquids, infuse essence of elements into swords, store pure energy in a tank and in a crystallized form, and most IMPORTANTLY of all, how snipes can flap their wings in circles around their body.

Pure logic. I can't see anything wrong. :P

Exisiting in-game logic does

Exisiting in-game logic does dictate that thwack hammers do not themselves possess elemental damage capabilities.SO WTH.

Also, yes, the zombie jump damage is very annoying, especially when it hits three times in a row for one jump. Its not so much that the jump does damage, it just does it for 3x damage.

Waiting for classic OOO's

Waiting for classic OOO's response: it's the way it was designed, previous behavior was a bug.

Actually, the jump itself

Actually, the jump itself does not deal damage three times. Twice, if you get unlucky with the knockback from that attack. Otherwise, your invincibility frames protect you. It registers three times on you shield because shields don't have such flashing frames as knights do.

@Naisha

@Naisha
Gremlins' thwack hammers are used in foundries and factories, where they are used near foundry crucible and melted metal, so their heads are usually heated to the point where damage dealt are not only because of impact, but also because of high temperature (thus non-physical damage). I know it's a bit of over-interpretation I've done here ;-) but if OOO change twack hammer texture to looks a bit more like heated metal on T2 and T3 it would make sense.

Not to mention the possibility to make an great upgrade for 2* Twack Hammer ( 4* and 5* version could deal split normal/elemental + damage bonus vs construct).

BTW, Lumbers doing elemental damage is more awkward phenomenon IMO.

Not that big a deal

Bearing in mind that elemental damage is explained (for those who actually read, and don't just click "I understand" and "go on" as fast as possible in the explanation mission) as being energy attacks whether from psycic energy or particle weapons...

It's pretty reasonable to just figure that gremlins are good at manipulating psychic energies. It would certainly add some sense to their ability to heal each other and raise the dead... Their attack doesn't JUST have to be damaging knights from the blunt force of their silly big hammers.

I've always found chromas doing piercing damage by spitting and licking more suspicious than anything gremlins have done... :P

Spitting/licking

Since some damages have been changed lets have chroma spit deal elemental damage and tongue do pierce. I can deal with constructs and even gremlin elemental. More realistic would be claw swipe attack as normal damage, charge attacks and retrode beam status attacks could do pure elemental in tier 3. Same with scuttlebots and mechas.
