I know this because i have seen all this play out on trade chat for the last few days and weeks. Because i have seen conversations discussing it. Being mildly perceptive, asking a few probing questions, and seeing other people's questions answered, i have concluded that this is what has happened. I have not jumped to a strange conclusion, i have confirmed through various sources as well. This is not an unfounded opinion.
again, this is not a personal opinion, or a "i think this has occured" but rather a "this is what occured." I would not have made this thread on a hunch.

Since when did Royal Jelly Suit Match Proto? To me, Proto Crest doesn't match anything, unless you had Bright Green as your Personal Color & on a Proto Suit.

Xtremejim sounds like a guy with no taste in armour. Either that, or hes a fashion god and knows every good accessory combination evar in the game. Most likely the former, because crests look good on gunslinger armour, but not as good on jelly.
@Extremejim: Technically, by buying the accessory on something already, he's paying for both the armour and the add-on. How can you call it cheap?

Volcanic wolver tail unbound > volcanic wolver tail on purple jelly armor.
why? B/c everyone who wants a volc wolver tail is competing for the former. Only some1 who wants it on purple jelly armor is willing to pay for the latter.

But this scenario you originally described in op might also apply to players who accidentally upgraded the wrong piece of gear. They sent in a ticket, and sometimes GM's come to rectify that mistake and allow them to craft the correct piece of gear.

i didnt think it was even possible for gm to unbind acessories
i got a few questions
did the gm take pity on him or wat?
wich gm was it? they should be fired for picking favorites (no offence to OOO or other gms but this is unacceptable)
how do u no all this (r u like best buds or some thing?) (if u r, u friended to a pretty cheap guy who shoulda just bought the aura by itself so he didnt waist the gms time)
