Which Flourish line?

So I recently acquired a Flourish and because I love having a large variety in my gear, I've decided to upgrade it. For the life of me, though, I can't decide which upgrade path to take. I was wondering if some of you folks who use the Final Flourish, Furious Flamberge or Fearless F--Rigadoon could make a case for which weapon I should pick.

Relevant information:
-I already have the Barbarous Thorn Blade, which does identical damage to the Final Flourish with its normal attacks; the only difference is in the charge.
-I have no weapons which inflict fire, but I have the Sudaruska and Callahan, which inflict stun.
-Coolness value is an acceptable argument.

Relatedly, there's a fifty-damage-per-hit discrepancy between the status-inflicting lines and the Final Flourish; does anyone know if the Furious Flamberge regularly makes this discrepancy back with fire damage? Also, can the status lines inflict their statuses with regular attacks, or only with charge attacks?

Definitely Final Flourish

The reasoning here: a piercing sword should kill quickly and viciously enough to not need a status.

Status lines can inflict statuses with regular combos; that's why they have lower raw damage.

Furious Flamberge's fire might make up for some of the lost damage, but it's a random chance of inflicting fire so don't count on it.

Also, Furious Flamberge is not recommended because fire-themed beast and fiend levels exist, which means that in some levels you'll be stuck with a nerfed version of the Final Flourish.

For status infliction, haze

For status infliction, haze bombs are a better alternative.

The point of flourish line is to deal as much damage as possible, hence being pure piercing. Fire status might make up for it, but usually one kills beasts and fiends so fast it is not worth waiting the fire damage out.

Status on flourish lines are possible on regular hits.

If you are going to upgrade a flourish line for pvp, you got two options. Pure damage final flourish, or stun chance rigadoon. Flamberge is not useful enough to help you deal more damage on enemies. Stun, on the other hand, is a killer.

.

If you already have a BTB, I don't see much pressing reason to acquire a Final Flourish. The charge attack on the Final Flourish isn't amazing or anything. If you're determined to get some kind of flourish variant, I'd argue that you might as well try out one of the statuses and see how you like it.

From what I hear, the status lines can inflict statuses on their normal attacks, but the probability is quite low. I don't have firsthand experience, though.

agree

I agree with the other posters. My sword guide covers the topic here. If you already have BTB, then getting any other piercing sword is a waste of resources. (Although, if I had to choose a favorite, I might slightly prefer FF. The preference is definitely not strong enough to merit getting a second piercing sword.)

Since you already have BTB, you're not looking for practicality; you're looking for fun. Stun is kind of a buggy status, whereas fire is kind of bright and shiny. So let's say that you should get Furious Flamberge.

Flamberge

I think you should get the Flamberge because (well everyone likes fire) it is a good mix of fire and piercing AND it is cool
