Are you allowed to replace the .ogg music files in the spiral knights folder? I'm getting tired of the default soundtrack, and i want to replace some of the music files.

Oh Lawwd, why wouldn't you be allowed to change what is on YOUR computer.

Inbe4 people try to find something in the ToS to throw it in your face.

Just mute it and use a playlist.

Because I'm fairly sure that the game checks for file modifications.

@Shoebox My computer broke

@Shoebox

My computer broke recently, so i'm stuck using a laptop that doesn't have much RAM memory.

Therefore, i cannot run many processes at the same time without my things lagging up. And as you can imagine, i'd like to play without lag. ^_^

You don't have enough RAM to run two programs at once? Sounds like you would normally be fresh out of luck. Okay, then here's what you do...

1) Mute the Music Volume in SK, as I assume you still want to hear the SFX and such.
2) Slap a cassette tape in your boombox (make sure it has fresh batteries)
3) Crank up the jams
4) When you're finished, hop in your Delorean and head back to 2012

By the way.

The game doesn't check for file modifications.
At least not on the soundtrack, since I'm using the old Graveyard music to replace the current Undead theme that plays in Graveyards and Candlestick Keeps.
