What Rank of Resistance do Most 5* Armors Resist?[SOLVED]
But I thought Maximum! was 6 & Very High was 4. Is it Different with Normal/Piercing/Elemental/Shadow Defence UVs?
For armor/shields: Low = 1, Med = 2, High = 3, Maximum = 4.
For weapons: Low = 1, Med = 2, High = 3, Very High = 4, Ultra = 5, Maximum = 6.
I forgot where, but there was a thread where testing was done to prove this :3
Haven't tested it personally, but the resistance provided by different 5* armors varies, and assuming the bars aren't a complete lie it can vary from a Max UV equivalent. See the Freeze resistance of Skolver compared to Snarby; both are 5* yet have different degrees of resistance.
You guys didn't answer my Question. ._.
Does a Mercurial Piece Provide a Med, High, or Max Resistance?
Snarby is around high.
I don't think any 5* armor has lower than that, besides Almirian's small curse resistance.
So I say everything has 3 points of resistance or higher.
Mercurial has max per piece, i can say because I'm immune to voltaic tempest with just the armor and any UV high shock helm.
Yes, mercurial provides one max resistance against shock status. Here is a pic to compare max uv and "natural" status resistance.
Just one more Question: Why does High look like Maximum!? Is it another "The Bars Lie" kind of thing?
High doesn't look like Maximum. Compare Snarbolax Coat, which gives High (3) Poison/Freeze, and Skolver Coat, which gives Maximum (4) Freeze.
Yes, its a bit confusing because both high and max uv's seems to give you three bars of status resistance, but once you compare each uv, you can see the difference. The bar should have one division for each resistance level, oh well.
If you mean status resistance, 5* armors gives 4 levels of resistance, which is the same as a max uv.
