Adding Intelligence to Punch (aka "Why I will NEVER use him again")

I have a Dark Briar Barrage (piercing damage) for which I was going to buy a triple UV. I've been saving CR for two months. TWO MONTHS.

My UVs:
- Slime Low
- Construct Low
- Undead Low

Now, I don't mind the three Lows (them's the breaks, ya know?) but REALLY? Two things that piercing is negative against and one that is neutral? Sonofabitch I saved for two months to get that much money, and now it's got junk UVs that I'll never get to use!?!

For 200kCR, why not put intelligence into Punch's UV roll and ensure something like this doesn't happen? I'm not saying to never roll a bad UV, but when you have three at least always roll a good one. Or when they are all negative, make the UVs Med+?

Just give us something, guys!

Random doesn't always seem random :-\

Dumb luck on these things can be pretty bad, it can also seem very much not like "luck" when it goes badly.

I rolled a few times on my Omega Shell with the hope that I might get something useful for it. In consecutive rolls:
Elemental Low, Piercing Low, Elemental Low, Piercing Low, Shadow Low, Normal Low... Even for the "low" price of 20K crowns, I'm done rolling UVs with punch for a long time (not rage, just lesson learned.)

It would be nice at least if it "remembered" what you've already gotten and lowered the chances of getting things you have already paid to reroll so that you are at least less likely of repeatedly getting the same thing. Eliminating them entirely would obviously ruin the point of HAVING random rolls, since enough crowns being pumped into it would guarantee the UV you wanted, but if it either lowered the chances of getting the exact UV, or even just blocked the last 5 rolls... There are enough possible options between the types and strenghts of bonuses you can get that it shouldn't make it much less random, but much less frustrating for people who just want to roll for the chance to get something GOOD.

I played around with Punch on the test server during mission testing entirely to see what sort of variation of things I'd get (NOT to get good gear for the test server, I did this after I was mostly through testing missions for curiosity, and rerolled after I got a desirable UV as well as undesirable ones.) I repeatedly got the same UVs on my item that it already had, in several cases it came back with the EXACT UV(s) that I was rerolling.
Paying 20K crowns, or in a few cases 75K and having NO CHANGE to the UV's on an item was really discouraging.

I'm sorry for your misfortune.

I haven't done a Triple UV yet but what my plan is:

Roll one 20k single UV first. If it's a really good UV, stop and save the money for something else.
If it's a crap UV, then I roll my triple and hope for the best.

Another way to look at it: Triple UV on a shield is a much safer bet (you know you're getting defenses).
For weapons you may be better off sticking to double or single.
