Yes. Its a bug. Its not made to keep DA from being Overpowered, to prevend from corner camping, what is most favourite argument of DA haters.
This bug affects multiple projectile weapons:
-Pulsar/Catalyzer series
-Gran Faust
-Water drops?not confirmed"
-Argent Peacemaker
-Winmillion
What is not absorbed:
Any Brandish-line charge
Any Troika-line charge
The Final Flourish/BTB Charge
While Brandish charges are now powerful somehow, they dont get absorbed, where possibility of abuse them is bigger, while pretty pointless charges like Polaris or dangerous ones like Gran Faust are being absorbed? If you are telling me its to prevent exploiting it by hiding in corner and charge spamming (Charge spamming on GF, i cant even imagine that, you used GF ever? Saw how long it takes to charge it?) you are completly insane sir and you are just saying what others have said without thinking about it. Using Polaris charge to hide in corner and spam? Didnt we saw topics that Polaris charge is useless? Isnt it common opinion?
And to those who will say "Doh, so hard to step away from wall?". Please, then why we have bug report section? Why do devs ever have to fix anything? Everything can be solved by avoiding it. Following your way of thinking:
- player A - OMG Im joining RT gate but instead it puts me in RJP gate
- player B - Dude, its simple just start your own parties, problem solved thanks
This is bug, it need to fixed.
Most probably because the projectiles start behind the knight, right where the knight is supposed to jump backwards to (but was blocked by walls).
Low walls let such projectiles fire because projectiles can pass over them. It's just the high walls blocking them.
Yes,, you are right Sirenblue, this is the source of the bug, projectile for a moment is spawned slightly behind a player, thats why it explodes on contact. Still it dont answers the queston why its not fixed.
@Asukalanforum Yeah, water drops in FSC and the candle sparks in CSK also do it.
Yup, a very annoying bug. And its been in the game for over 6 months.
Sometime bug happen not at back, but at forward. Then i use DA in JK levels. 8-\
yea, it is a bug, no questions. However, this may go unfixed as long as the fiery pepperbox did :-P
Or it will be fixed "with purchase" of CE package.
I believe this affects a few other projectile weapons as well, like the polaris charge (not that anyone ever uses that), and obviously the other sealed variants. I seem to recall it affecting the magnus line charge as well but I'm not 100% on that.
