A small suggestion... think you could add a profile pic with a gunner hat for those of us that wear them a lot?:)
Forum Avatars
some people might chose one that they want to look like but don't yet or one they think looks cool
I would highly appreciate avatar of each in-game boss. I would love to be the roarmulus twin ^u^
I agree w/ all three of you. I would like to show my personal knight. There should be the ability to choose a face shot, body shot, or a mugshot-esque action side shot. (By action, i mean w/ weps.) Spyash is right, as some people dont want to just pick their knight, and so is Qror, because there should be more presets. I am mostly in agreement w/ Byzik.
Pfffff
Gunner avatar? You really think that Nick would want to see that all over the place? Then he'd NEVER post on the forums, just to avoid looking at the thing he despises most.
@Fehzor I'm not sure what possessed this forum to think the developers despise gunners but theoretically if they did, they would have remove the gun and gunner armor all together, no? But it has come to my attention that they haven't. I know we all do things we regret but this doesn't seem to be the case.
Nice idea OP
What possessed this forum to think that? Uhmm...let's compare a couple things...
Skolver: Medium Damage Bonus per piece, high Freeze Resistance per piece.
Shadowsun: Low Damage Bonus per piece, double-debuffs to Curse/Poison per piece.
That's one of the main ones. Not to mention that there's only one set of Gunner gear (Although it has 4 alchemy paths, there is only one set) Some of them being just as useful to Swordsmen as they are to Gunners (Deadshot). Justifier/Nameless are alright, at least they even out with Vog cub, for the most part; even though they have no status resistances.
Anyway, I think that's mostly why. Polaris certainly doesn't show any love to Gunners, since I don't know any Gunners that spam it; mostly hybrids do. The recent AP/Sentenza adjustment was a welcome change though, I'm glad they finally got around to that buff.

Not to mention the fact that there's only 2 looks for the Gunslinger line of hats - the brown one and the white one.
Anyway, +1 to adding new forum avatars (even though I rather like how this one looks).
Sync-ing with in-game characters would be perfect. It allows many more unique avatars to be used.

did i make a mistake using steam to sign up? because i can't even fin out where to Set a profile pic ._.' can someone help?
To the left of the forum search bar there's an inconspicuous link that will take you to forum preferences. From there you should be able to find your way to changing your avatar.
I'd really like to be able to use my own Knight as my forum avatar, but barring that, I would like a little more variety added to the current batch.
While we're on the subject... given that we have to tie one of our in-game knights to our forum account, why isn't our avatar actually of that chosen knight?
You would only need to render the knight when I log out of the game client and during that session I've (a) used that knight; (b) changed my helmet/armour (including accessories). If necessary you could just log those accounts where this applies and then do the rendering as a batch once a day so that those players who frequently log on/off don't overload the system. This would make the forums more personal and provide additional incentive for people to use accessories on their knight to visually distinguish themselves.
(For the record, I was lucky in that one of the standard forum avatars is actually the way I represent myself in the game!)
