Troika doesn't get any elemental. Triglav freezes, but that's it. The prices are completely off, and they're both two star weapons with easily available recipes and materials.

If you're going for just looks, I would go with Cutter lines. I don't know about you, but the idea of a swordsman swinging his/her blade at fast speeds while going through hoards of monsters like a meat grinder sounds much more appealing than just someone wrecking face with some heavy sword.

Interesting question. You said "interesting to play" instead of "most efficient". I would say the Cutter, because its attack pattern is unique and visually awesome.
Anyway, just be warned that if you are looking for an efficient weapon, both Cutter and Troika are bad choices.

I know they are. But, efficiency isn't everything, and this is a game. I've had minor experience with both weapons, but not really enough to choose.
Overall, looks like cutter's more fun, I'll go with that.

As long as we are talken just for the heck of it...
If you are going for quirky normal damage sword that doesn't really have a place in T3 but is fun to mess around with then don't forget about the Spur...

I'd go with the Cutter.
I'd go with the Cutter. Hardly anybody makes Wild Hunting Blade and it's probably the coolest sword in the game.

People want to touch my Triglav in LD all the time... just sayin.
I say you should get the cutter. I dont have one but they look awsome. Troikas are cheaper and stronger but they only have 2 hits. Theyre charged attack is really good and cool but the cutter is way faster. The cutter has 5 hits.
Price (from auction house)
Troika:
900-3000 cr (i think)
Cutter:
2000-5000 cr
I got my troika for 500 cr
Troikas have good evolutions (Triglav with ENORMOUS normal attack and huge elemental)
Cutters have great evolutions too.- Wild Hunting Blade- Damage bonus .vs. beast= HIGH/Dread Venom Stiker-Slight Chance of Causing Strong poison.
Well, my opinion is that you get the cutter.
