I just got the recipe, and i checked the wiki for the level of the voltech alchemer needed for the crafting. It said level one. Now I just want to know if it was a typo(like they meant level 10), level 1 and higher, or just level 1.

2* weapons do not need to be leveled any to become 3*

You don't need any heat levels to upgrade from a 2-star weapon to a 3-star weapon. You will however, need your 3-star weapon to be at level 5 at least to upgrade to 4-star, and the 4-star weapon will need to be fully heated (at level 10) to be upgradable to 5-star.

if it said level one, you need a lvl 1 item.

You don't "need" a level one item, if it says level one it means level one + if it says level five. it means level five + etc.
