Well in that case...
...why not also show how many people are currently playing in the desired tier? That way you can know if there's even a chance of you joining into a game once a round ends.
I'm going to give a tentative +1 to this. It's tentative because I'm wondering whether adding this would make people not want to even try joining a particular tier. For example, if there's only 2 people waiting for the tier that you want to join, you might be discouraged from waiting for that tier. I feel like there's a possibility of a sort of chain reaction that will end up with people just not playing in particular tiers just because nobody's ever there.
