I just started playing this game again after several months, and I noticed the new mission system and its rewards for completing missions. However, I tried doing the starting missions from 1-1 and up and I am not getting the rewards for them. What gives?

Some of the missions that are playable have better unique variants and are stronger. Yes, they have a shiny new toy, but we already have tons of stuff. make a new one if you want, but I am good.

You're not missing out on much.
First of all, you've got better stuff coming your way if you do the other missions anyways, so if you didn't already have some endgame armor set then your performance won't be hampered.
Second, I'd highly doubt you can sell any of those UV items for more than a few crowns, since, well, everyone can get the same UV items with minimal work.
Edit: Even for lockdown you get other items from the missions you CAN do.

People have been complaining since the second the mission system has launched (mostly in Bug Report or Suggestions, and the ones in General died out after Nick basically said 'lol no' to us), so nothing strange there. I'm glad that it happened though!

stupid waste of crowns. 2000 is almost enough to cover my 4* crafting fees.
You're a tad late to this, but in short, we don't need those stuff and can get stronger ones elsewhere. It's like asking for a baby bottle again. We got the prestige already. This complaint was sealed last week. Bummer for all of us, but oh well.
