I recently got a tempered calibur, and am at a loss of what to upgrade it into. I heard that the CIV has a better charge attack cuz it hits targets three times instead of the Levi's 1 hit knockback. I'm not a pure swordie by the way, I'm a bomber looking for a good utility sword. 8P
CIV or LEVI which has the better Charge Attack??

Well if you want to cause a bit of damage and fling your target across the room with the charge (which may or may not cause the demise of your teammates) then choose Levi, if you don't then choose the CIV. The Levi can only reliably hit three times on stationary targets with the charge, while the CIV wont have that problem.

Well...
The CIV has a higher chance of hitting at least twice with its charge, but the Levi is more likely to save you from enemies due to the heavier knockback.
It's more of how often you run in a party. The CIV charge is better in a party, Levi for solo.

I've seen a youtube video of CIV in combat
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=--4VrhDhioU
here you go
Levi has a higher knockback and damage. The knockback will push enemies out of the last hit, assuming there is no wall or other object behind the target.
Civ has lower knockback compared to levi, and lower damage to everything but undeads such as zombies, kats, and howlitzers. I can't say I've seen the knockback on the cold iron line, thus I have no idea if 3 hits is possible on a small target.
Both swords are able to hit 3 times with the charge, assuming knockback is blocked by something. For a bomber, I say levi for the higher damage.
