I know the answer to all of our Expansion Mission problems! (Sorry if this is an old, repeated idea. It seems perfect)

"Operation Crimson Hammer Ticket"

Costs 4 bucks. Can trade em.

P2P players will buy these to resell them. This way free players can access crimson hammer missions

AND!!!

SOMEONE had to pay for the ticket one time or another.

Every single person who has expansion mission access had SOMEONE pay for their ticket, which profitted OOO as it would anyway.

This encourages tickets to be bought more.

Because of the demand etc, most P2P players might find that selling tickets is profittable, so they will in fact do this.

If there aren't much P2Pers selling tickets? Drives the price up, eventually making P2P players want to sell tickets.

We all win.

this is already happening, ive sold 4 of them so far. F2p get them, and i get CE. Also, i don't know if you saw it, but the gunner mask is a nice touch. Allows me to use 2 damage trinkets and still max out my ctr. Plus, fire and shock resist (finally)

+1 to this

In-game trading of these would solve my issue with the expansion missions.

Ideally, make them cost $4 worth of CE and sell them at the bazaar vendors like trinket or weapon slots. Paid players can buy CE directly to buy access, or use CE they've bought earlier. Free players trade their crowns for CE from paying players, either directly or via the energy market. Either way, OOO gets $(expansion players X 4). Does it really matter *who* pays for each $4 ticket?

Yes, trading is already happening, but only via Steam. There are also people who play via Kongregate or the stand-alone client. I really don't see why they should be excluded.

:O it is already happening?

:O it is already happening? It doesn't seem like it

Oh I see only by Steam. Well that's not smart.

And Smit that would ruin the idea it b/c has to be hard-traded and not sold by any vendor. This way, someone somewhere bought the ticket that the f2p user is using. Or maybe this is not what you meant, I am not completely sure.

Also yeah I got the mask it is awesome having positive status resist for a change :3
