As some of you may know, the Trojan in the Plazamonium in Dark City can corner you into a little outlet of land, preventing the knight to escape. Shielding does nothing, attacking does nothing, and reviving does nothing. I'm already aware this only happens in solo, but many knights like to go that route, including me. Please have this looked into as soon as possible!
Trojan Trouble in Dark City
There's no way to 'fix' this without making trojans a joke.
It's better if you learn to avoid such mistake than nerf enemies.
Sorry.
I didn't get a chance to dodge the Trojan.
And I don't want to nerf the Trojans. I just want that tiny piece of land fixed/removed. If there's a situation that dooms you to die and unable to get out of it, it needs attention.
I'm personally against changing the trojans, yes they can trap you, but avoiding that is part of the strategy to dealing with them. Also no rational land change is going to stop them from trapping you, your basically asking for all corners to be removed.
"I'm already aware this only happens in solo, "
you go solo at your own risk
And its possible to get out from trojan trap by shieldbumping him but most ppl do it wrong. They turn up shield once and keep it turned on, it just bumps him a little for first time but then its not effective and ususally trojan charges on you and breaks your shield. They do it in wrong way instead of bumping them by sonstantly turning shield on and off, approaching him again and turning shield on and then off again. Thats the proper shieldbumping not turning shield on once and keeping it on.
I already told you. I have nothing against the Trojans. They're just fine as they are. If I get hit into a corner, I can at least squeeze out. But here in Dark City, there's an outlet of land that prevents you from escaping the Trojan's blockage. I already tried the shield bumping technique, and that didn't work. All of my attacks didn't work. And even reviving didn't work. And I'm not saying I'm angry because I died, but because I can't move on. I'm forced to go back to the Haven against my will.
I want that looked into. I know going Solo has its risks, but this is just ridiculous. And I'm not a noob at fighting, I just got caught at the wrong place at the wrong time.
And if my friends are too busy or are not available?
All I want is something to be done to that tiny piece of land in the Plazamonium in Dark City so that an incident like this cannot happen. Is that such a huge problem?
"And if my friends are too busy or are not available?

There are many places like that. You want to CHANGE THEM ALL just becouse YOU have problem?
Again, you go solo, deal with it. You go solo at your own risk.
What other places are there that have that condition?
And yes, I know, I know that solo has risks. But there should not be a situation that forces you to give up and return to Haven when you still can fight and have energy to spare.
You want me to point out every single place with a trojan as enemy and a corner of map where he can pin you down when you are alone and there is noone to distract him? ._.
Your dark city
FSC D28 trojan room
Trojan in gaunlet arena
Trojan in fiend arena
Trojans in Silent legion levles
Trojans in candelstick levels
Trojans in.....
Do they all have tiny outlets of land, or a tiny cranny with three walls around it?
If it's just a normal corner, that doesn't count.
"If it's just a normal corner, that doesn't count."
Well, you can get trapped in a normal corner, so yeah, I think it does count when answering your request to list them.
Pretty much any where a Trojan spawns has a corner where you can be trapped. Yes, it's easier for you to end up trapped in those "tiny outlets of land", but it's still possible in corners. Also, if they take out only what you consider to be the problem, think about how they'd report the update:
Fixed Trojans trapping players in Dark City, but it's still possible everywhere else a Trojan spawns.
That would be a bad move to say the least. The only way they can remove the issue completely is if they make all corners circular so there's no sharp corners, but that would mean recreating many, many zones for an issue that simply increases the difficulty in dealing with the monster and promotes teamplay.
I don't consider this a bug at all, but that's my opinion.
I'm just surprised this debate is still going on when only one person thinks this needs to be changed.
Other than changing the landscape, another solution is to make trojans wander away when they no longer have a target, instead of staying put and keep using the knockback move. That wouldn't make trojans any easier to fight, and will give cornered solo players the ability to continue.
I also wonder why the massive knockback on revive doesn't work? Is it because of double layer of foes or the landscape?
"Solo has its risk, deal with it" is a stupid statement. The game gets backed into a corner and cannot move on, since the trojan has trapped you and you have zero way to get out of it. Much like a gate that doesn't drop after you kill everything. It's a bugged state and should be fixed.
I did some testing and only 1 way u can get out of a corner trap
The Gigawatt pulsar and polaris's shot's will knockback Trojans, therefore that is the only way to knockback Trojans
No, pulsar line isn't the answer.
- You want to force everyone to make and carry one to levels where trojans may appear?
- Only the expanded bullet knocks back - what if you are already trapped or are already dead?
The problem here is when trojans no longer have a target, they don't go wander off like other monsters. Instead they like to stay put and keep using that knockback move. Even if you revive, you cannot damage it as it is facing you, you are already trapped, and you have no way to push it back.
If you are solo'ing, that will result in a "game over" state. A state which Spiral Knights doesn't have otherwise, as long as you have energy to revive.
I'm still wondering why Tradley couldn't push the trojan back with his revive though.
That can happen in groups and in any room with trojans it's just that usually groups will kill it when it pins you back there. You can actually get out by tossing vials.
