Well I amjust using two weapon slots, so I'm just using 1 sword 1 gun.
I'm gonna upgrade my sword to glacius (so it's elemental). Then what gun the sentenza or AP. My guildnate said to get Sentenza because I have an elemental sword.

So should I get

sword: nightblade

gun: AP

Or

Sword: iceburst

gun: Sentenza

thank u in advance

Either one works perfectly

Either one works perfectly fine. You have covered your damage bases, and will not be suffering any damage reduction from monster resistance.

I would get the elemental sidearm, simply to be able to shoot down turrets easier. But that is just something to consider, not important enough to warrant changing you entire loadout.

Without a gunner loadout you

Without a gunner loadout you are going to be very underwhelmed by the performance of whatever gun you end up choosing. Most swordsmen just use a sidearm as a back weapon for taking out turrets from a distance. Your plan is to use you gun as a primary weapon for what your sword is weak to & I think will be frustrating.

Zombies are nerfed, really no

Zombies are nerfed, really no problem anymore. Hack n slash for max dps.

Gremlins, same thing. Although, a faster sword to be able to shield their swings, such as acheron over gran faust.

other way.

This is really up to you... but since you are asking:

The AP will be better for turrets. That alone is reason enough to pick it as your only gun. Lumbers are also weak to the AP's elemental damage (and I don't like getting close to them either).

Choosing the Sentenza would mean you would have to be very careful fighting Devilites. They are fast, and hard to hit, and resistant to shadow damage. (Another reason to pick the AP).

I have nothing against the sentenza. It would do really well against slimes and beasts. Just think about the enemies you hate to fight the most, and make sure that you can kill them effectively.

I would get 3x of one weapon type & gear to enhance that weapon

You should get an

Elemental sword, a Shadow Sword, a Piercing Sword, and an Elemental handgun (gear for sword buffs)

or

Elemental handgun, Shadow handgun, & Piercing handgun (gear for handgun buffs)

So does

So does it mean I should get shadow sword and elemental gun?

But I don't fight devilites with guns because they are so quick.

I like to get sentenza because it's long range (like the color while it shoots)
but AP is so common.

So does it mean that sentenza is not good?

Sorry for too much asking I just need help

Sentenza *was* hard to use,

Sentenza *was* hard to use, due to the split damage. Now, you can use it against gremlins and jellies very well.

Ap is common because it works well.

You can always have another sword that sits in your arsenal, since every floor has a station now. Switch out the shadow sword with a piercing sword, and continue to beat almost everything up with yellow numbers.

Great. Now you deal effective

Great. Now you deal effective damage to 2 families, neutral to 2, and ineffective to the last 2.

Good luck fighting beasts and gremlins.

Yes it can hit gremlins.

Yes it can hit gremlins. Nothing is "bad" to use, if you use it for its intended purposes.

I'm a swordsmen, so I use my sword to kill devilites. At times, when I feel like it, I take out my callahan to shoot them. Or, I can put on a fast song, some demo armour, and spam dark briar barrage to kill them.

This isn't rocket science

If you have an ele and a shadow, you'll be fine, no matter which one's a sword and which one's a gun. Zombies are simply not a problem. As for gremlins, they do dodge, but that just means the job may take a little longer.

Just get a Flourish if you want to kill devilites efficiently. You don't need more than two slots; arsenal stations are there for a reason.

TBH, if you're a swordsman,

TBH, if you're a swordsman, it'd be better just to have a wide range of swords, and a polaris for backup. The only thing you'd be shooting at would be puppies, so the slow bullet speed won't matter much, but the elemental damage will help a lot.

New topic

Well here is a new question knights.
The weapons are done

Well I am going to get Skolver coat and divine veil (for multipurpose protection)

I have elemental hood and dusker coat right now, the problem is

Do u guys know the logo of ur helm when u look at ur character?
My dusker has aaahhh let's say 4 square of normal damage protection but when I look at the helm logo (for me it's like the total of ur protection, I don't know what it's called)

well it shows only 3 1/2 and the pierceing lts say 3 now only 2.

It's like the elemental hood drags or drains the def of my dusker coat. Why?

Don't trust the bars. The

Don't trust the bars. The equipment defence counts differently from the total armour defence.

When you look at the stats

When you look at the stats for just one piece of armor you are only looking at 1/2 of your total defense (helm+armor). When you look at the summary at the bottom of you character screen you are looking at the protection of both helm + armor.

So, Dusker has Normal, Piercing, Freeze & Elemental Hood has Normal, Elemental, Fire, & Shock. This means that when you add both pieces together, that you have roughly twice as much Normal protection as either Piercing or Elemental.

No, it means what Bluescreenofdeath said.

The summary at the bottom shows your total protection from armour and helm put together. They have to shrink the bars to make them fit. Both the summary and the individual view bars are basically reliable. The exception is when a bar goes beyond the visible range; in that case, you do get additional defence despite the fact that the additional defence may not be visible.

Ahh so my

Well ok but does it mean that it is just for show?

Aahhh so does it mean that my pierceing def before when I was full dusker is still the same

What. Are you. Not understanding.

The bars are NOT FOR SHOW. They are MOSTLY ACCURATE. The reason they seem inaccurate is that when you view the summary (that includes both helm and armour), the bars are SHRUNK so that they can be displayed within the space available.

What do you not get?

Do you mean that you changed one piece to a Magic piece?

If so, then of course your piercing defence will be lower *overall*. Earlier you had two pieces that gave piercing defence. Now you have one.
