is it possible to set it up so an analog stick will change the facing of the character + moving to the direction he's facing?

You cannot bind the same

You cannot bind the same stroke on two actions

WASD + Mouse = win

Not sure if I got this right

I have it set up so he faces one direction + moves there at the same time. Instead of going forwards while walking backwards. Like a Zelda game?

Move *Direction North-South-West-East* + Face *Direction North-South-West-East* can be mapped to one analog stick. I leave the Move Fwd ones blank.

Strafe is on another button if I want to move backwards while shooting upwards.

Yes, you have to bind

Yes, you have to bind movement and facing to the same key. [Or something with a similar name] I pretty much have to do that since I play on a laptop without a mouse.

That's how I played for a while, and it's fine if you mostly melee. If you use guns a lot, you should try to get used to a dual-analog setup with one stick to move and one to face, like with a console shooter. I'm a PC gamer so this was a little difficult to get used to, but it's worth it.
