Lost energy due to party leader kick?

I bought some CE to do another Jelly King run (using missions), and on the first level, after paying the 10 energy elevator fee, the party leader randomly kicks me, for NO REASON. (Before we even step on the first party button!) I lost energy, I'm not happy, and I have no clue what to do. This isn't the first time horrible leaders kicked players for no reason.
TL;DR:
*Joined JK mission.
*Took elevator downwards, used 10 crystal energy.
*Party leader randomly kicks me.
*Not good enough to do on my own, no choice but to return to Haven.

Three Rings needs to change this so it is a vote kick or something, this is really stupid.

umm.........

im sorry to hear that, and I know from personal experiences that it can get EXTREMELY annoying when you are new at the game.
Although the idea of a voted kick may seem fair, its simply not practical due to many reasons.
In case of a kick, you should NOT just go back to haven. At least try to kill some monsters to get some money.

If you need help with Jelly runs, Il be happy to help you with some. You can add me as a friend, or just message me ingame (name is Alynn)

So what, I'm supposed to just deal with it, the lost money that I have spent? That isn't happening.

My suggestion would be to make friends and have them help you get through the bosses. I think the current party system is fine.

The only thing with the kick

The only thing with the kick system that needs to be fixed is that they need to have an option to votekick the leader, like in Alien Swarm. Either that, or the option to join someone who left the party (like if you want to split one party into two) like when someone goes down from the subtown and it leaves a little "join now" button.

Oh and btw if you picked the mission, you'd clearly see that it says Royal Jelly, not Jelly King.

Royal Jelly, not Jelly King.

Don't bother. I've been fighting that battle since release.

Wow, I'm kinda surprised I'm

Wow, I'm kinda surprised I'm not the only one. But seriously, it's even dumber now that various missions mention it multiple times.

Don't give up like that. All you had to do was fight a bit, try and take at least some jellies out, and then when you die return to Haven. At least then your 10 energy wasn't a total waste.

You can deal with it in whatever way you want, but OOO will not change the party kick system.

Il can do Royal Jelly runs with you to help you get the stuff you want, if that makes you feel better.

Suggestion

Start your own party. That way, you can't get kicked. Worst thing that happens is people leave, but as long as you aren't being a jerk or anything, you should be fine. And yes, get friends or get a guild (not saying that in a mean way) they help a lot for clockwork runs.

I dont mind carrying people from time to time, though understand that I have nothing against you if I don't revive you. Most likely its cause I'm in imminent danger and need as much hp as possible to survive.

Besides that, I've done the Royal Jelly Palace so much I'm bored of it. Friend me, and if you ever catch me ingame and find me down in RJP, feel free to pop in if the room's not full.

Ign to my left. (Imperialstriker)

Why would you just give up?

What do you have to lose by trying? Geez.

Also, you could have invited friends to join you. Don't have any? Um, get some.

It happens...

You run that risk whenever you join a party and you are not the leader. It sucks when it happens, but it happens. ):

There are several solutions:

1) Organize your own group.
2) Never follow, always lead a group.
3) Never follow a pick up group to a floor you can't solo. If they do kick you then you can continue to the elevator without trouble.

@imperialstriker I HATE HATE

@imperialstriker I HATE HATE HATE impatient noobs who revive themselves with energy instantly, even if I'm standing roght on top of them.

@Twiddle if you lead the party, you have to waste all that energy getting to deeper depths. This because even more staggering when you're in tier 3 for vanaduke.I've joined other parties before that were already at the terminal! that's 30-50 mist saved.

@ Batabii

Well, hopefully the Vanduke mission will come out soon. Then you can have direct access to him. Also, if you want to be the leader of your party, you can always join a party in progress then immediately go solo. It means you have to complete one level on your own, but new joins will start to filter in after you complete the first level.

But, if you

  • don't want to solo at all
  • don't want to get kicked and
  • don't want to start a party

then the only way to do it is to make your own group and run with them. Otherwise you need to consider the possibility of getting kicked as a risk you take for saving energy on the earlier floors.
