Greetings, Nick. I do hope you get this message.

I have been a long time player to Spiral Knights, and I have been a happy paying costumer since April. I've seen this game evolve since its start, I've participated in many promos including the original Rose Regalia.

I think the test server is a great idea, And many enjoy testing new content including myself. The purchase requirement of $9.95 however, Is a little to specific. I've never minded paying to access the test server, However I'm limited to $10 monthly to spend, and I spend it all online for Spiral Knights. So, Usually this isn't a problem... However, Recently you introduced the Elevator Pass, which is a must have for me, On top of this you've introduced other various package deals, including the expansion Operation Crimson Hammer which I very much enjoyed.

This month I purchased a renew for my Elevator Pass, and, Operation Crimson Hammer. I have no more money to work with, But unfortunately, my total only reaches $9.90, 5 cents short and this isn't the first time this happened. And in previous posts I've seen I'm not the only one with this problem.

So my request to you, is to please, make the purchase requirement around $9.50 or so, In order to allow for those who purchased various items instead of a single $9.95 purchase to equal an enough amount to access the Test Server.

I got a Pioneer's Medal, when does my Spiral Pension kick-in?

Why do I have to pay $10 to test when I beta tested this game three times already?

Why not make it available with *any* purchase?

If someone's so eager to test the game that they'll make a tiny purchase just to get access, isn't that win-win for OOO? One more tester who really wants to be there, and a little more change for OOO's pockets. It can't be that the cost of one more player on the test server outweighs the advantages. . . .

@ Shoebox I think the paywall

@ Shoebox

I think the paywall is just so you don't get this server flooded to the brim. We don't even know how much the server could handle in terms of population, and why devote excess resources to running a server for a lot of people when the server only needs a few testers? How many people do you think would come to test versus the ones who'd come to play lockdown or do the shadow lairs because they get all the weapons for free and inifinite ME? Why should they pay to support a high-pop server when only a few missions need to be tested?

On another note those that don't get in the test server technically do not miss out on anything. They will get the content in time, and it may have some tweaks, but the point is that the main server will get it and you can play it then. The only thing you do miss out on is infinite energy and everything being pretty much free; but that's not the point of the test server, and they don't want it flooded just so people can tinker around and mess with these perks.
