Appearence of the Vog?

So the vog and vog cubs have been a lost subject but what if they actually added the vog? How it would work is if you have beaten the snarbolax 10 times before and you have clearence to tier 3, randomly (1/5 chance) the snarbolax level will be replaced with a level based off of the vog leading up to an incarnation of the vog. It would be the snarbolax levels' basic idea but everything is on fire so it's the burning forest. a difficult level leading up ahead with vog cubs as a reacurring enemies (think wolvers but fiery) and the boss is on the 4th floor. It's the difficulty as a tier 3 boss as the fact you need tier 3 clearence to access it.

the monster itself is a bigger leaner and flaming version of the snarbolax accept only 2 eyes (not 6) with 2 flaming horns and crimson fur.
it'll be a beat family member so piercing will do you good. It'll start off by entering and seeming invincible, similar to the snarbolax and will summon it's own cubs to assist it. it will be very fast and be able to dodge things quickly so guns aren't good. How you damage it is with pots filled with water. You stun (it'll still move but cannot dodge projectiles) it using the beast bell in the middle (similar to snarbolax) and then you will have to hit it water pots. then it'll be dizzy and you'll have your chance to hit it. do this for 3 cycles (times) and then it'll go into a rage mode. it's immune to water and the bell but this point you swarm it with attacks when it stops moving by doing a super powerful attack (a charge perhaps?)

If you've beaten then you have the choice to turn snarbolax levels into vog levels anytime you want.

It'll give off 1-4 "Vog horns" (the token) and the list will be:

30 tokens: Horn shield (4 stars, alchemises into "Vog horn shield")

30 tokens: "Anger of Vog" bomb (4 stars, alchemises into "Endless Rage of Vog". it has a giant explosion (in the shape of a vog head) and creates a wave of heat (AoE))

40 tokens: Fang of Vog (5 stars, moved from vanaduke's token list)

40 tokens: Magma Musket (5 stars, 1 shot, fast recharge, blasts a wave of fiery lava)

Hope you like my idea!

VOG

While i like the idea of a vog incarnate (vog cub? XD) There's an issue I have with the bomb. If you take out the head animation it's an AoA. You'd likely be better off with an elemental DBB incarnate... in which case you may as well just ask for a 5* Radiant Sun Shard with chance to cause fire...

Sorry, but I say pull the bomb and just leave it at the weaps and maybe MAYBE the shield.

Vog cubs sound like ashtails with a different skin. Give them different attacks to make them worth it.

Also we already have regular snarbolax and poison rabid snarbolax. I'd expect soemthing more unique than just thow in fire to the mix.

Updates

Well I meant with the bomb that it's a hologram of the vog's head. and yes vog cubs should have different attacks, and I meant with the boss itself it should be very different to the snarbolax battle. it was just an idea for the battle, it could be a lot better.

You mean a Vog Cub boss, or a Vog boss?

Assuming Vog (Since you said Vog Cubs would appear in preliminary levels): Vog isn't a Wolvah! D:

Incarnation and Video of Cubs

Yes vog is a god of fire or something like that. But I meant reincarnated in a beastly state.

And in this video I swear there are vog cubs: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xUMxpYLJQiM&feature=related skip to 0:24 to see them. also for the record at 1:14 there's a tortodrone

@Saxori:

Yeah but Vog Cubs, as well as Tortos, were hunted to extinction supposedly.

Incarnated in a beastly state...lol =P

@Saxori:

No one, that's why they're still extinct.

Assuming you meant to say "Haven't"...

If they were hunted to extinction, I think it's hard to believe they reproduced. xD

The only way for more vog cubs to appear is by Vog granting more wolvers his powers...

But Ash Tails cover fire already, so I don't see a whole lot of sense in bringing Vog Cubs back.

More as a Mission

I like the idea, but I think it would sound better as a mission. According to the story, all the Vog Cubs were hunted to extinction for their coats. As the mission goes, the team has found a very small part of Cradle, where there are a small population of Vog Cubs. As it goes, their resources on that small part of land is running very low, and your mission is to try and capture them so SK can repopulate them.

I know the idea behind this forum is the appearance of Vog too, but I can't really think of anything else to add to my comment. I'm sure you'd have an idea for this too :P.

Mission is a good idea.

I like the way you're going with that. It would make sense story wise and how the vog cubs come into play. Maybe they get trapped and (reincarnated) vog comes? Anyways for the whole argument of vog cubs being extinct, I'm pretty sure vog created them in the first place. So if he rised again, wouldn't he just create more?
