As I walked over the floor in this screen, tiles of it turned darker. I encountered this in Flame Lash Arena, Slimey Showdown.

This is most likely a problem with your older graphics driver. Catalyst 11.2 shows none of these issues. Catalyst 11.3 shows some textures as black and some lighting shenanigans on some setups.

As the second poster said, this is not a consistent issue, it's occasional. I've been through the same area a number of times before and this is the first time that's happened (it's also the first time I've been alone, all my party members left :( ).
I've had this happen maybe 3, 4 times before. I'll vouch that it's some sort of client-side lighting anomaly, as party members with me at the times had no idea what I was pointing out.
Additionally, it didn't reoccur when I passed the areas later.
This also may or may not be related to overall odd lighting as was seen at the Bazaar and Sky Island levels.
