When I go to the place to leave the Rescue Camp for Haven, all that comes up is the join a party screen; it won't let me leave.

Travel as far north as you
Travel as far north as you can, and you fill find an elevator. Beat those levels, and you are free!

Energy?
I'm sure you will have discovered this by now, but you need sufficient energy to escape the Rescue Camp.
At least, you did when I first joined. That was a while ago, I don't know if anything has changed since, but I never performed the missions in the rescue camp; I simply waited for enough Mist Energy to accumulate and then crossed the Chasm.
If you did have enough energy when you tried to cross, maybe things have changed since I did it. Please let me know if this is the case :')
You have to finish that to leave rescue camp and enter haven.
